I'll be honest, it's really hard to get a hold of them by phone which is very aggravating. But, when they do answer, they are just great! This is more than I can say for the other departments in the store. Thank you for always being very helpful.

Pharmacist: is the laziest man in the whole building: everyone that works here is working fast and try to do the most they can for you. This guy doesn't even seem knowledgeable. I had questions about the difference between medication and this Ivy League genius said they are all about the same . Gee thanks glad I didn't have to go become a pharmacist to think that already . He moves like a sloth, ameen or whatever his name is .. worst pharmacist I've ever met. After doing the bare minimum, and I mean, absolutely, the bare minimum, which is stare at the wall of medicine, like I was already doing, and just pick the one that I want it instead of giving me a recommendation explaining it -- I asked him if I could check out there like I usually do when I pick up medication and he had the audacity to say they will check you out in front after already charging me for the medication. I asked him is this new or why can I not check out here he wanted to claim he was busy. The pharmacy technician help me within one minute. She was at the window, there was no one behind me: This is just lazy AMEEN OR WHATEVER UR NAME IS

I waited an hour to go pick up prescription. When I get there the pharmacist tells me she didn’t fill it because I don’t have insurance on file and to wait 15 minutes. Very unprofessional way to inconvenience people for not having insurance.

I had a very poor experience at the Walgreens located at 5874 South Archer Avenue, Chicago, IL 60638. I needed a Covid Vaccination in mid-March of 2022. When I called to set up an appointment I explained that my immune system was suppressed due to a medication I take. I asked to book for the least busiest time to come in to avoid a covid infection from exposure. When I arrived, I explained my situation again at check in. The check-In employee I spoke to was not a very friendly person. She was curt and without provocation, treated me like I, (a patronizing customer) was a nuisance.Walgreens made me (a known immune suppressed customer), wait in a very public trafficked area from the moment I walked in until I complained 40 minutes later. As I waited, the same person who checked me in was arguing with another customer. This frustrated customer came over and vented to me. I was uncomfortable in this environment. From the time I arrived until the time I received my vaccination and waited the 15 minute additional observation time, I was treated as if I were a nuisance by the staff and I did NOT provoke that type of treatment. I complained to the employee when I received my vaccination and she tried to defend the wait. I disagreed with her and told her this is incompetence. I was there for an hour. When I arrived home, I called their offices in Deerfield, IL to report this business and complain. The lady I talked to was pleasant at customer service. To be transparent, I recommended that somebody should view and listen to the store's video security records to validate my complaint. My goal in patronizing Walgreens was to receive a service with dignity and respect and save my insurance company the cost of a doctor's office visit. However, my next vaccinations will be made by my Primary Care Physician. As a senior citizen with other ailments, I am vulnerable. I treat ALL people with respect and dignity but I have a very low tolerance for people who are abrasive, arrogant and incompetent.

The male pharmacist is lazy and arrogant. Brought in prescription. Three days later he told me it was on back order and told me to call other Walgreens to see if they had it in stock. He handed me back my prescription and told me to try Osco. Not a great representative for Walgreens. Called the Walgreens at Archer and Cicero and had my prescription in 30 minutes.
