After many years, I have to be honest. This location is a downgrade to the one that was destroyed near me on 59th. I am forced to come to this location due to being the nearest since the destruction of my regular Walgreens. But you will wait 20 minutes in drive thru for medications, even if you are the only one in line. I just don't get it. I mean, having a drive thru is a privilege here, but 20 minutes wait time? And this is the 3rd time this has happened. I'd like to believe it's busy, but it isn't. The pharmacy just doesn't seem to have it together. I go inside and once again, the pharmacy is not busy but you wait so long just to pick up a prescription is not a good thing. When I ask the pharmacy what is with the long wait, they usually say its that we are shorthanded, but again I see that's not the case. Sorry to say this but I can't wait for my Walgreens to re-open as they are scheduled to do so, although it taking a very long time (the irony). But I will be honest, this location, although slow in the pharmacy, still has many items that are essential. Its very well kept and for the most part the employees are kind, BUT SLOW. Again, I don't usually post the negative, but I am compelled to keep my honesty when it comes to YELP.

I went to get a meningitis shot for my daughter. Lily was such a great cashier with great customer service.I was in the waiting area waiting to get called. Was so amazed at what great service Raven and Yesenia were giving all the customers that were coming in....even being so busy they still managed to help every customer to the best of there abilities. I just want the ladies to know that there extra customer service doesn't come unnoticed.

No matter if you call the pharmacy as soon as they open or 20 times a day, they place you on hold and keep placing you on hold with no explanation. I finally went in while on hold, there was nobody in line nor in the drive thru. The management team needs to do better to manage their time and staff properly! Now changing my pharmacy after years.

7 cents to put your purchases in a bag?!?!?!?! When they ask "Would you like a bag?" NOT FOR 7 CENTS I WOULDN'T! **When I'm counting change to buy a 2.99 6 pack of Natural Ice I clearly am not in any position to add 7 cents for a bag. A bag that rips when I start walking nonetheless

I don't even know where to begin with expressing my gratitude for this amazing staff. Everyone from Lashonda, who went above and beyond to assist me during a very stressful day to the taller gentleman with blue eyes (I'm so sorry I didn't get his name!) and Mary. I have been having such awful experiences with other companies lately, their kindness shows me that there is still genuine people out there who take pride in what they do and care about other people. This Walgreens isn't exactly on my route, but you bet I'm going there from now on for all of my pharmacy needs. Thank you guys! And also for restoring my faith in humanity a little bit.

Staff will follow you around the store and if you don't buy something, they follow you out and ask what you stole! They did not have any of the 3 things I went in there for then had the nerve to ask if I stole something. Like you literally don't even have what I need.

Parking lot sucks and the pharmacy seems to never be able to find your prescription when picking it up. They leave the counter and look around in like 20 different places before finding it.

What has happened to this Walgreens? In the last 2 months I’ve 1) been shorted yet paid for approximately 52 metformins. 2) called in a refill for insulin needles to only find out that you never contacted my doc 3) came to pick up my husbands sodium chloride and told it was never called in BUT the store manager handled that and 4) came thru the drivethru with my sick husband to pick up a refill of insulin needles only to be told the pharmacist is on lunch and needs to consult me. About what prey tell ? Walgreens is there anything you can do to make my life tougher? I’ll be looking for a different one. This is insane!

These Pharmacy techs are LAZY as ever. They will let your prescription sit there for days without contacting your doctor or insurance to get what they need to fill the prescription. Yesenia has a disgusting attitude. Instead of actually asking how my last name is spelled to even look up my prescription she just blurts out "I have nothing" like I'm bothering her to ask her to do her job. After going back and forth with these lazy bums for 3 days I get a text saying the prescription is ready, I go again for the 2nd time that day only to see they're charging me for the prescriptions my insurance carrier said was covered. Again instead of actually DOING THEIR JOB they just figured it was easier to charge out of pocket for it. Go the the walgeeens down the street...they're friendlier, aren't afraid to take a couple extra steps to make sure they're job is done, & know what they're doing.
