This is my neighborhood Walgreens, I'm here at least 2-3 times a week. I witnessed a parent steal a small drink for their kid and called them out on it front of NICO. He did NOT care. Asked me how I knew they stole it, then as he was ringing me up, didn't say a word to me. NICO needs to check his attitude or not work the counter. I'll look into another Walgreens.

The store is well-organized. The young people who work late at night and who overall manage the store are very sweet, professional, and efficient. And, let’s give it up for Gloria! She is the bomb at the register and the matriarch of Albany Park.

Wife called the pharmacist to refill a script. They told her it was on backorder. My wife asked if they could check their system to see if there were any stores in the area that do. They said they couldn't do that and that we have to call ourselves. Hmmmmm! Very unprofessional! I called a different store and they were able to check for me was able to find it un under 30 sec. C'mon people! It isn't that hard of a job!

11/13/23 This store is 5 stars across the board. Many people complain about the pharmacy, but I have yet to experience any problem with them. They have always filled my orders quickly and accurately. It sometimes takes a couple of tries to get through the pharmacy by phone, but more times than not, they answer on the first call. ALL pharmacies are busy, by the way, and you have to be patient. They have more customers than pharmacists who can answer your call. The only thing that needs improvement is the seating area outside the pharmacy. There are only several, and it's not enough to accommodate the elderly seniors who come here. A few more seats would be beneficial for elderly pharmacy customers if room can be found. Not a complaint. Just an observation. The front clerks are on the ball. Their EXCELLENT about opening up two registers if the line gets too long and they work fast. The store has a lot of nice products, especially around the holidays, and a fabulous year-round toy aisle...

Pharmacy staff are inconsiderate, rude, mean, and not too bright. You should hire people with intelligence and compassion, not Immature brats with no patience and a chip on their shoulder. If you don’t like your job or don’t know what you’re doing, get another one rather than take it out on customers and blame your mistakes on them.

If you have medications here, change your pharmacy. My husband called in a prescription for our son and after he went through the prompts, he wanted to talk to the pharmacist about his prescriptions, after he was on hold for a very long time, they kept picking up and putting him on hold numerous time. When they finally picked up, he told them to please not put him on hold, and the pharmacist told him, and these are her exact words, “ Are you mad? “ and hanged up on him. He called back to speak to the store manager, the pharmacy doesn’t have a “manager”, the guy was rude and giving him attitude, he told my husband that his name was Eduardo, when my husband asked if that was his full name, he told him that was his full name. I believe I know who was the pharmacist, the Asian American with the glasses. She’s so rude to all the customers and always has an attitude. We called corporate and filed a complaint. We are definitely switching pharmacies. They are dealing with customer service, if you don’t want to do your job, then you need a new career path.

(Walgreens at 3153 W.Irving Park) Not bad overall, but the assortment might be better.. Sometimes the sales people aren't cooperating... But there're some really nice professional caring sales persons, like Nancy and Salam - I'd like to praise them! Thanks a lot! My family appreciate your hard work!❤❤
