I love this Walgreens. Everyone is helpful and friendly. Best Pharmacy I’ve found in the city.

Pharmacists are busy these days, I understand. And the pharmacists who work here are very nice. But Walgreens needs to get it together--there is always a very, very long line to get one's prescription filled here, and they are so short-staffed that they never answer the phone. The other day I waited in a line for an hour (because they wouldn't answer their phone) to ask to transfer all to Osco. When I got to the window, they said Osco has to initiate. When Osco did contact them, they only transferred 3 of 4 meds. When the pharmacist at Osco tried calling them for the 4th, they told me even THEY were waiting for 1/2 hour on the phone to no avail. A business can't be run this way.

Called for a prescription to be transferred to this pharmacy, they said ok, never heard back so I went in person the next day and they had no record of anything. Also, it’s almost impossible to get through by phone. I gave 2 stars because the tech was very kind

Pharmacy is horrible. They never answer their phones. I have been on hold for over an hour and a half. The pharmacist was extremely rude and dismissive.

Most folks are so nice there, but I’m sure this is due to so many factors (externally, logistics) but I literally cannot go to this pharmacy anymore. If I get connected with a great pharmacy tech I’m in good hands, otherwise I’m gas-lit, waiting for 45+ minutes for prescriptions that were supposed to be ready, and just sad. Looking up new pharmacies now I just literally cannot handle feeling so disregarded, ignored and otherwise a number.

Almost every product is under lock and key, and none of the call buttons work. If you want to buy anything you'll have to hunt down a store employee, then wait another few minutes while they drag themselves to the case.Their recent "renovation" is a complete joke with stick on tiles and visible store issues everywhere.

I do not recommend using the pharmacy here. They're a mess. I get the feeling they're short staffed or something. Regardless, find another place. It'll help them out too, as they're clearly unable to keep up with the workload.

Walgreens has issues that are systemic and much larger than any one store. But if you can avoid it, avoid this store in particular. I visit the pharmacy there often and it is always a miserable experience. Every. Single. Time.

The music is SO loud. It's hard to for the pharmacists to speak on the phone and to speak in person to customers, it's ridiculous.

Called to speak to a pharmacist. I was on hold for 19 minutes and 59 seconds. The call picked up and was then hung up by whoever didn't want to answer the phone.

Walgreens, all of them, are dirty, worn out, sadly bleak places. And the employees are very unhappy.

As I write this, I have been on hold for 35 minutes and counting to talk to the pharmacy. Every few minutes, the phone will ring, you hear a voice and then you are put back on hold. I called the store itself to complain and all they said was they can tell the pharmacy I am on hold and transferred me. This is a truly useless operation.

I am writing this while sitting on hold for 47 minutes to cancel a prescription that was sent to them in error. I called from another line and the automated system said that one other person was ahead of me which of course was me. My call was picked up and placed back on hold countless times. It took less a minute to handle my request. While reading the other reviews I see that this is a constant problem for this location. Walgreens has lost me as a customer.

I've now been on hold for the pharmacy to cancel a prescription sent to them in error for over 40 minutes. During that time I have written two negative reviews and phoned in a complaint to their corporate office. The phone has rang to them no few than a dozen times and they pick up and put me back on hold. I also called in on another line and found out that there was one person in line ahead of me which of course was me so there was no excuse for not answering my call!

I did get the help I needed, and the clerk whom I asked was really friendly. I totally appreciate that.I rarely go to this Walgreens despite having lived within a mile or two of it ever since I moved to Chicago. Part of that is because for the longest time I didn't realize there was parking; the parking for the store is located in the back, and there's an entrance on both that side and the side facing the intersection of Lawrence & Western. But the biggest reason I don't go here is because it's just kind of gross. The plaza in front often has trash in it and the store feels really dingy. It needs a major facelift.
