Staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the pharmacy is very slow - budget about 1 hour to pick up a script, or be sure to call ahead. Even then expect to wait at least 20 mins to get checked in.

Prescription put in on Monday. It is the following Monday. Nothing. No call. No following up. I called them and the dummy said he ordered it. Like that doesnt help me sir because nothing has happened since! Yall ain't worth dealing with ever again.

Ive been going to this Pharmacy for over 7 years (picking up meds for my Elderly Mother) Ive never had any issues. The Pharmacists have always been helpful. The longer wait times mainly depends on how things are set up. Sometimes they may be understaffed, but a lot of times the medication delays are beyond Walgreens control.
I stay in touch with all my Mom's Doctors & Nurses. I also utilize the Walgreens App and their notification system. Both tools are very accurate & useful for picking up medications. Imho, the App and their notification system (the email/text version) is more accurate than the automated phone calls. Any delays that ive experienced have always been via the insurance company delaying payment or Doctors and Nurses not doing their part. ...not because of the workers at this location.

I changed pharmacy locations due to unprofessionalism, now I was told my prescription was ready but it wasn't!! The automated pharmacy line called me, saying the prescription was ready, help me understand!! I just went to Walgreens for nothing, walking in the rain, how inconsiderate!! These Walgreens pharmists tell you anything... very unprofessional!!

I’m so sick of this pharmacy staff. Lazy and unwilling to do there job. Never answers the phone or leaves you on hold for 30 mins and hangs up. When you go through the drive through they won’t be doing anything ! But make you sit and wait. Unless you’re in person inside the Walgreens good luck. Tired of that robot answering the phones too, want to speak to a real person. Smh

I've been calling everyday for a week for a time semlnsitive prescription. Every day they tell me it's out of stock but they get a shipment in daily and call back tomorrow. Finally I call and they have half of it a week later, after I explained my frustration they verify the other item is on backorder. Like it took them a week to tell me that! So I go in to get my prescription wait in line for 15 minutes. Then I'm told it's not ready yet and need to wait 15 minutes more (told me on the phone it's ready for pickup). Through I finally get it and I open the bag before leaving and they gave me an old version not compatible with my scanning device and not my actual prescription. I'm then told again they are out of stock but they get a restock daily to check again in the evening.

Another one in Hyde Park that is hit or miss. Same problems as the one on 55th. Let's be honest, ALL of the Walgreens have the same issues. I never have a problem with the staff though. They do what they can with what they have, I do feel bad for them wgen they get robbed. One thing for sure, this location doesn't take any shit from rude customers and a few have been banned from there because of it.

This is the worst Walgreens pharmacy I have ever been to. The pharmacy techs or whatever their titles are, are SO rude and need to be in a different field ifDealing with customers is so stressful to the point that they are yelling at the elderly. Also, After waiting hours to get a script filled they tell me that they can only partially fill my prescription. Something they could have told me long before so I could go to another pharmacy. Never again.

Why the fuck is the pharmacy just randomly closed on a Thursday afternoon. I go in and they tell me the pharmacy is just not open today. And since I need them to be open to be able to have my very important medicine transferred to another store, I have gone without it all day making my condition worse. Fucking dump.

I had 3 scripts moved over to this pharmacy and on my first pick up I asked the cashier to go over the quantities of the medications she had just pulled. She snapped and at me and was so incredibly rude to me for an inquiry on basic medicine amounts that they filled. That will be my last time using that or any Walgreens pharmacy if possible. In my opinion it's not too much to want to be treated with respect and/or basic consideration.

Very aweful. Been there for years and no longer let me use the bathroom? Also staffs became cold over the years. What a waste of time. Would rather walk to one one 55.
