Worst pharmacy in the world. They never have prescriptions m, they are rude and never answer the phone. My son has a severe infection and it will be days before they have his antibiotic.. are you kidding?? I would give zero stars if I could

Had a 645 appointment for the family to receive flu vaccine. Told us to come back at 715 because the pharmacist was going to lunch. Now I understand they could be short staffed….and it’s only 30 minutes…. But no apology and it’s 30 minutes of having to walk around the store because it made no sense to go home and come back.

transferring my prescriptions to a different Walgreens pharmacy. First of all, I HAVE to use Walgreens because it's what accepts my insurance. But I'm no longer visiting this location, even though it's the closest to my home, for several reasons. The first, it's impossible to get in touch with them. I've been on hold for a full 30 minutes before I finally hung up. I had an issue that needed to be resolved over the phone-- to save me making multiple trips to the store-- but I had to drive in just to ask the question anyway. And that would have been okay with me, honestly. I get it. They're busy/short staffed, etc. Although, I'm not sure what pharmacy rush hours all, but I've tried calling at all different times of day and it's impossible to get anyone on the phone. I can also repeatedly hear me being taken off hold, and then put back on hold without ever getting in touch with anyone. The second, and primary reason that I'm no longer using this location is that one of the pharmacists that is often there is just incredibly rude. And I know what you're thinking, they're being rude because I'M being rude because I'm frustrated or whatever, but I promise you, that's not the case. I've worked a myriad of odd jobs, including customer service, retail, etc. I know what it's like and I know that most of the variables that are frustrating to the customer are not the employees fault. But this woman is just plain rude. Right from the get-go. Her tone and behavior is incredibly unprofessional. I went in to check on the status of one of my prescriptions because it said in the app that I needed to call the pharmacy about something--couldn't get them on the phone-- so I went in and this woman was immediately rude to me after I politely explained what I was there for. The medication was out of stock (apparently, they're always out of stock with multiple medications here). She said it was on "backorder." I knew that wasn't her fault so I said okay and was attempting to ask a follow-up question to see if it was possible to get it filled at a different Walgreen's location. She kept cutting me off before I could get my full sentence out, and I'm a very passive and non-confrontational person, so it was pretty easy for her to do so. She eventually, in a very condescending tone, explained to me in an infantilizing and snide tone that-- "yeah it's on BACKORDER. so no, you can't get it ANYWHERE, because it's on BACKORDER." Clearly, she thought I was stupid for not understanding her first snide remark about the drug being on backorder. I'm not an idiot, I just needed clarification on what that meant precisely in regards to the supply of the medication I needed. I've been in there several more times and this woman is almost always there, and she continues to be incredibly rude, for absolutely no reason. I'm chronically ill and getting my prescriptions when I need them is really important to me, my overall well-being, and my capacity for functioning as a person-- and I never speak to people that way. Perhaps this woman should look into a position at the pharmacy that requires less interactions with customers-- since she clearly despises it so much.

This Walgreens is by far the best one I’ve been too in the city. I was considering switching to a cvs or Costco because Previous Walgreens in the city would take up to two days+ to prepare my prescriptions. Not here! I had my script sent over and within an hour it said it was ready on my Walgreens app. Staff is always friendly and helpful. 10/10

Pharmacy does not have good work ethics and will have you standing waiting and say your doctor didn't answer and not give you medicine that you need!

Avoid this Pharmacy if you can. The Pharmacy has the worst team I have ever experienced. Missed prescriptions. Lost items etc.. Then I Showed up for an scheduled appointment and they turned me away from my scheduled time saying they did not have any vaccines. I Left and went to a Walgreens down by Humboldt park., and the Pharmacist there got irate when I told him I had an appointment at the one on Fullerton but they could not do it, and heard him complain in the back to someone saying that it is not true he sends out the stock to that store and they just got another Delivery this morning. Then two of our friends had an identical issue. It's an obvious problem for this location the pharmacy does not run like other walgreens we have ever used and its pretty bad.

This review is for the pharmacy only. I take medication that needs to be ordered bimonthly. It's annoying to get, crazy expensive, and not kept in stock anywhere. Mickey - the pharmacist - is always on top of this for me. Even when I forget to call and refill, he's got my back. He also reminds me when I forget to refill my other meds or to pay my insurance bill. He's great. This Walgreens pharmacy is also like trilingual (English polish Spanish) and their staff is very helpful with questions etc. Thanks for keeping me healthy, Mickey and team!

This is one of the most horrible Walgreens I have ever been to. It is run by mean and obnoxious people. If you want a terrible experience, this is it. If you don't want to ruin your day, simply stay away.

Epic wait times for the pharmacy. You used to be able to drop off your prescription in a separate line (drop offs are fast). Now you have to wait in the same painfully slow line to drop off your prescription and then again when you go to pick it up. There is also not enough parking. There are other pharmacies that are more considerate of your time.

Visited today it was nicely stocked, but at time of check out there were two registers open but they were saying there was one line and the ladies at register were nice but all they were doing it was watching each other to see who takes care of next customer, i've never seen one line for two open registers . I guess the other one whats trying to get away while she could.
