Lexe, Angel and Kevin are a total asset to Walgreens. My name is Adee I went to take there a passport picture. The Walgreens camera wasn’t working. Angel assited me to figure out the problem, Lexee was able to crop my picture since the Walgreens software is old and not updated or capable to do that. Keving send me a old file of me via email to be able to have this done. They were awesome.!! You guys, thank you so much.! Btw they are so good they deserve a raise :)

I love this Walgreens. The staff are so nice and helpful and do not seem like they hate their jobs like they do at other walgreens. I have been here many times and even though there is quite a bit of turnover, the pharmacy and the sales staff are always nice. They must have a decent manager who sets a good tone. Kudos!

Used to be bad, then got better, slipped again, now better. I don't use the pharmacy so I can't comment on that. No more 24 hours, closes at midnight, but came to the store and it was closed at 11: 30 p.m. Anyone know why? To note there were several of us potential customers.

I ran out of a prescription and was running down the clock on some NASTY side effects from not taking it and the team here was so helpful and kind. They reviewed what was going on, expedited it, and then when I called the next day the pharmacy tech adjusted her work day right before her lunch break (!?!!) to help me get my meds before I got sick. Super star team, always have had a great experience with the Pharmacy team at this location.

I've lived across from this pharmacy for several years and have seen a lot of pharmacist turnover. Unfortunately, my experiences have been consistently disappointing. The pharmacists are often behind schedule and seem uninterested in helping customers or answering questions.
This pharmacy seems to have trouble with refilling prescriptions.
When I was on Accutane, I had to come in every month to watch the pharmacist reset their password to validate my prescription eligibility. It was frustrating they weren't doing their due diligence to refill my prescription on time.
More recently, I've had trouble getting my birth control pills refilled. Despite having automatic refill set up, they’re consistently behind, leaving me days late on my dose. As someone with PCOS and endometriosis, being late on my birth control refill will cause significant discomfort.
I'm disappointed in the lack of care and empathy from the pharmacists at this location. They should learn to view us as patients rather than customers.

It’s a good Walgreen’s! There are more nice associates than not and they are helpful. I use the pharmacy, too, and they are great with notifications and, even with a drive in, they are faster than a lot of other stores.

I’m surprised by all the negative reviews. I’ve been going here for years and consider it the best drugstore / pharmacy in Edgewater. Many products are locked up, but the staff comes quickly to get them out. The staff (including the pharmacy staff) have been courteous. It’s a quick and well stocked place to go for items like skim milk and shampoo. I have noticed that they have cut the pharmacy’s hours, but I attributed this to a general economic crisis for pharmacies. I’ve heard that Walgreens is going to close some stores and hope they don’t choose this one!

My order is pending at glenlake store. I called to find out that they're out of medicine. Never informed me, then Refused to transfer to this store on ridge.
I've been on hold for over 45 mins. Every few minutes music stops and changes into phone rings. Someone picks up the phone and put it back on Hold!!
I'm glad Walgreens is going down the hill!

If I could give this place a one star I would. The pharmacist here are the absolute worst in the city and they should be reported to the state board to have their license revoked. I just had a pharmacist say to me I’m a traveling pharmacist. I can’t fill this when it has a note from the doctor to refill early. This isn’t an isolated incident. If you try to call them they put you on hold for 30 minutes so today I walked over while I was on hold with them and saw the pharmacist wasn’t doing anything. I watched him pick the call up and put it back on hold. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

Please save yourself the headache. This Walgreens is the worst I've visited. Every time there's some issue with prescriptions, everything is locked up and minimal staff. Everything about being inside this place is endless frustration. Go elsewhere and I promise you'll thank me
