Avoid this point!!! I ordered medicines on Thursday and went to pick them up on Friday. They weren't prepared. I waited a very long time even though there were only 2 customers. They gave me different medicines than what I ordered. This is not a pharmacy, this is one big DISASTER.

4th or 5th time not being open during listed hours. Earlier this year they also managed to lose a COVID test so I never got my results.

I also echo the recent reviews of Yanni, Kris, Jack and RC. I had the worst experience of customer service, medical help, and professionalism in my life at this location recently. To the point I had to call for medical and legal advice dealing with this pharmacy and their employees, specifically the pharmacist as others had noted below. The situation was so bad that the pharmacist stole my property including my personal information and billing credit card info and still has it and will not give it back. I called corporate to complain so I hope this gets addressed. Otherwise, I would advise people to stay away from this location as it is dangerous and unsafe to be there.

Embarrassingly horrible pharmacy team on the evening of Oct 27. Sad to say rude, and seemingly not very well trained group. Note to management, please review this team and help them. We all win when you have a better prepared and professional staff. They were neither.

The pharmacy at the Walgreens at 5625 N. Ridge is awful, awful, awful! They are so understaffed and in the middle of the day, the line for the counter can stretch halfway down the nearest aisle. The CVS at Broadway and Granville has separate counters for picking up and dropping off prescriptions, but this Walgreens has a single line, and it moves SLOWLY. In addition, the staffers behind the counter are called away to help customers at the drive-up window and to process people coming in for COVID shots, who are scheduled for every 10 minutes. I've had nice interactions with checkout people up front in the morning, but the pharamacy is just terrible, and I'd never, ever recomend it to anyone. Go somewhere else!

I never knew people could truly be “big-boned” until I met the manager, Katie.

Execrable store. Rude, incompetent pharmacy staff. Overworked pharmacist. Walgreens is a for-profit company, they are bleeding the US healthcare system and cheating the patients and tax payers. Walgreens should be driven out of health care business, they can go back to selling nail polish and kleenex. I switched my prescriptions to Costco and I encourage others to do the same. Better still, buy as many meds as you can from Canada.

Normally, I wouldn't review a Walgreens, but this one went above and beyond. There's a special pain cream I use and they were out. An employee saw me in the aisle frantically looking for it, and they could probably notice the disappointed look on my face. She told me that a shipment had just came in, went into the back and opened some of the boxes to get me my product. I was super impressed by that.

DONT COME HERE FOR COVID TESTING.Understaffed and over worked like all Walgreens. Generally it’s busy, the staff is polite and hard working. The “2hr” test took more than 24hours to get results and I had to call for them. There is no signage/emailed info about where to go. It’s drive thru testing ONLY. If you don’t drive, once you wait in the pharmacy line, they direct you to get in the drive thru line (in Chicago winter potentially). Id recommend not offering walk up testing at a site that isn’t equipped for it.

Prices in store are more expensive than on their website. You can get the lower prices by placing your order through the website for in-store pickup. Their coolers no longer have glass fronts, they now have displays on them so you can't see what they have in stock. No guest Wi-Fi.

Called the pharmacy TODAY task a simple question and was put on hold multiple times by a rude, uneducated, unprofessional man in the pharmacy who just kept brushing me off like I was trash! (This happened at 1:36 pm cst on Monday feb 6 5625 N Ridge ave Chicago. so you can know exactly who he was) Had me on hold for 20 minutes before I called the state and reported his but! That’s what you get for treating people like trash sir! I hope you get what you deserve! I have cancelled all my prescriptions from any Walgreens pharmacy, due to your disrespectful attitudes, lack of education and professionalism, and above all your OUTRAGEOUS prices, I posted another review that goes into detail about this, but I just think it’s wrong that hard working people have to pay 90 million dollars in co pays for prescriptions that they need to live while the owner of this dump is sitting on some throne in a mansion in Deerfield deciding where to buy his next summer home or what new overpriced dog he wants to buy while eating lobster at 7 am on a Tuesday! This is ridiculous so I have decided to cancel all my prescriptions and pick them up from Jewel from now on where they actually care about people! I will also be no longer recommending Walgreens to any of my home care client, and any other senior citizen that crosses my path, you people are thieves and deserve every bit of bad karma you get for over charging people and being disrespectful to them, prepare to loose a lot of business because I have a long client list going back over 10 years spanning over 3 states so remember this is all your fault Walgreens and the rude gentleman in the pharmacy that kept putting me on hold over and over again for over 20 minutes because he simply didn’t feel like doing his JOB you can blame him directly for this one! I called cooperate to report all of this! Good day!

This Walgreens is going from bad to worse. Find a real pharmacy to get your medications from.

If you want a prescription filled in a timely manner, do Not go here. My doctor called a script renewal on a Friday. I went to pick it up in the next Monday at noon. I was told that it was not ready, they had the med in stock and to come back in 1.5 hours. I came back 5 hours later, waited in line for 15 minutes to be told it was not yet ready. The medication is expensive, not covered by my insurance, so I just bite the bullet and pay for it. The clerk spent another 10 minutes walking around and it turns out the miniscule 'discount' had expired. I said 'no problem, can I just buy the meds...' They acted all put out and I had to apologize for not being thankful.... So I waited another 10 minutes and was finally able to buy my meds. Something is wrong with Walgreens. Every other cosmetic, soap, personal care item is locked up. There are no people around if you need customer service. Because this is a for profit company, with shareholders, their motive is profit only. They are one of the reasons that health care in the US is a mess. Out of four other Walgreens in the Chicago area, this is the worst one I have been to in the past two years. Will check if I can get my meds at Costco.
