I was very disappointed of their customer service, rude, unprofessional and highly intimidating by management at point of threat on me of calling the cops for no reason other than ask for their names to report them to walgreens, everyone said they where the managers and have the authority to removed me from their property, totally clown show incompetent and ignorant who wherever where this individuals two Hispanics, male and female [managers), and a white woman with a ring in here nose another manager.

Team members are always friendly and welcoming. However, it is unfortunate that almost all personal hygiene products are kept under lock and key. An errand that should be a quick grab-and-go becomes a 15-30 minute ordeal as, more often than not, they are understaffed and only one person has access to the key. The company should either get rid of the lockers or provide more team members with keys to access product.

I’ve visited the Walgreens on South Halsted Street multiple times, and it has consistently offered reliable service. The store is well-organized, making it easy to find what you’re looking for. The pharmacy section is my main go-to — the pharmacists are knowledgeable and courteous, always taking time to explain dosage instructions clearly. They even go the extra mile to let you know about any generic alternatives that can save you money. I also appreciate that they offer free flu shots, and the appointment process is very simple — you can walk in or book online. Aside from medications, they have a good selection of essentials — from groceries and hygiene products to seasonal items. Checkout is usually fast, and the self-checkout option makes the experience even smoother. Parking is also easy, which is a big plus in this area. Overall, this Walgreens location is dependable and has become part of my weekly routine. Definitely a trustworthy spot for health and everyday needs.

This Walgreens is slow and staff is rude. I just wanted a toothbrush and waited by a locked door that apparently wasn’t really locked for 5 mins, to be “greeted” by a staff member who didn’t say a word! I had to say hello! Ridiculous customer service! I’ll drive out of my way before I come back and it’s a shame since I live in the neighborhood!

Really need to be careful with this location! People just go in and steal whatever they want, they even take big bags to steal anything. It’s so unsafe and puts people to risk. They need security ASAP!

TALK ABOUT SLOWWWWW. Pharmacy sends messages on APP stating prescription ready wait in line 15 minute request message and told they are not ready to wait another q5 minutes. Clerk yells to pharmacist letting him know to work on meds. STRANGELY this Walgreen customers always have questions in line.🙄 THE regular check out line is slow too...CAREFUL in pilsen at night lots of gang activity near this walgreens.

The line at the pharmacy is like microdosing hell. It’s never short, it’s always a 20-30 minute wait, sometimes longer, and there’s like 2-3 chairs.

Useless pharmacy.
In the time it took for the elderly gentleman to incorrectly input my insurance info so I couldn’t get my prescription, I could have driven to CVS and had zero problems getting the prescription.
Please provide him with a role in the store that’s a better fit for his skillset - it’s not computers or reading.

This walgreens pharmacy has the rudest people employed I called to ask about a prescription that was stalling to be filled and the tech who answered was beyond rude, I asked her to confirm it would be ready for pick up at a certain time and with the nastiest attitude she replied " I just said it would be ready what more do you want me to tell you" I should have asked for the supervisor at that point but it was early morning and imI had work to get to. This pharmacy used to be amazing and the best service ever but now I would give it -0 stars if I could they are horrible.
