Recent experience at this Walgreens pharmacy was good. Helpful pharmacy staff, easy to speak to, etc.

This is the worst pharmacy in the world. There is always a long line. They're mean and don't seem to care about your problems. They need more pharmacists and not take 2 lunch breaks. Stagger your people. What is this Europe? They close during the day for a two siesta's. Plus they are out of critical drugs for me at times. Regular known drugs that no one should run out of.
This used to be a great pharmacy but they went way downhill.

They have the my Rx which is always out of stock but their pharmacist has poor customer service skills over the phone.

Asked at the pharmacy for a stethoscope, they told me they don’t have it, go look for a medical supply store. Turns out they do have it on the floor and they were fully stocked. Instead of an apology, I get lectured on how they’re only giving information on what they have in the back.

The pharmacy is very busy, and the staff does their best to provide good service.
However, I gave it 2 stars because the store is overall very dirty. The trash in the pharmacy area was overflowing with food items, and the entire place feels grimy. I hesitated to touch anything because it all looked so unclean. The store really needs to clean up.
Their slogan; At the Corner of Happy and Healthy… should be
“Where Dirty Meets Discomfort”.
Today, I switched to Amazon Pharmacy to avoid the long wait times and overall uncomfortable experience. It’s a better option that saves time and money while providing a more positive experience.

Woman picked up my phone call just to leave me on hold for ten minutes until after closing and never picked up again. Wonder what would happen if someone who needed medication for a critical health need was in the same position...

Transferred my stuff here from the hellscape that is the Dearborn location.The only reason I transferred it here is that I couldn’t get Dearborn Walgreens to liaise with another pharmacy to complete a prescription transfer outside of the Walgreens chain.I find the pharmacy staff here to usually be pretty good; however, on my last visit, my app told me my scrip was ready. I walked 10 min down the frozen wind tunnel that is North Ave only to be told the medication had been put back and needed to be re-filled. The pharmacist was on lunch and would need 45 minutes after returning to do this, with 15 orders ahead of mine. I asked if there was anything they could do to bump me up since their error caused the issue, but they declined. At least they were polite and apologetic. I ended up using the FedEx option to have the med delivered to me and I think I’ll just do that until I can get a new scrip and take it to CVS.

I have been going to this location for years. I understand that these guys are short staffed and overworked so I have always been very kind and patient. However, nothing justifies bad behaviours! The older pharmacy technician Shanell is incredibly rude. I have never had this problem with anyone but this one technician. The moment you approach the counter, she just snaps. As if she is angry that customers are coming to pick up their medicines that they need. The other day I went in to ask for billing assistance. She was already fighting with my friend who was inquiring about her back order medication. Then I stepped up. My medication is expensive and my doctor gave me a coupon. Shanell never tried uploading it in the system or even looked at it. She talks like an illiterate person who is in serious need of some education and customer service skills. She told me they do not take coupons and I can submit the receipt to my insurance. When she was raising her voice, the Indian pharmacist stepped in and helped me. It was not the pharmacist’s fault she still apologised to me. I am assuming Shanell did not know how to use a coupon and hence was not interested in helping. I also love Kiara technician she is always very pleasant. 5-stars to everyone else at this location and 0 to Shanell. I will avoid visiting this location whenever she is working.

This pharmacy is one of the most frustrating pharmacies I have ever dealt with. Constant prescription delays, never pick up calls, long wait lines, and poor customer service. Avoid at all costs.

I have been coming to this pharmacy for two years simply out of convenience of the location and I have yet to have a positive experience. Very regularly I get notified that the prescription is ready and it is not, causing me to repeatedly have to visit the pharmacy for one prescription. This is an even bigger annoyance as the line is always long and usually takes minimum15 minutes per visit to get through because every customer's prescription is incorrect is messed up in some way.

Worst pharmacy in America, they were closed for a week and a half I then go to pick up my prescription 5 days after they opened and then say they just ordered it and it will be another week before it arrives. Wow absolutely unbelievable!

I have been calling the pharmacy for 50 straight minutes for a prescription and they pick up the phone and put it back on hold... ridiculous.
