Great pharmacy friendly and helpful staff

Clark & Wilson has been my pharmacy and go to convenience store for 25+ years. The people that work there go above and beyond time and again to serve a demanding and challenging community with what I imagine are scant corporate resources. I’m not sure what others expect but when your customers range from shoplifters to the 1% folk I think they deserve more love for keeping it together as well as they do.

No hate on the pharmacists, but hours are not updated. They have a lunch break 11 to 11:30 now, it should be reflected on here.

Nate and Debra were very friendly and helpful in resolving a prescription issue. They took extra time to make sure all my concerns were addressed. I always have a great experience at this location.

I’ve been to many Walgreens pharmacy. For some reason, this pharmacy seems to be behind on medication 30% of the time. This is concerning since some of the medication is needed immediately to relieve patients from symptoms such as pain. There is almost always a long line at the pharmacy. It’s worse during after work hours and weekends. On a good day, there are 2 staff members helping customers. On a bad day, there is only 1 staff member. The pharmacy has 3 registers. They can totally staff 3 pharmacy techs at once. The pharmacy can most definitely benefit from hiring 1 or 2 more pharmacy techs to help out especially during busy hours. This pharmacy also always never pick up their phone due to high number of customers. The few times that I've had success reaching the pharmacy by phone is to spam call them nonstop. Someone usually picks up after 10+ calls. I hope this pharmacy make effective changes soon.

I’ve never had a Walgreens consistently make getting my medication so difficult. The people working there are rude. They lie about prescriptions being out of stock. I shouldn’t dread going to get my medicine every month.

Can’t call and talk to ANYONE. I’ve been hung up on multiple times while I was waiting in a call queue where I was put on hold for over a half hour at the Pharmacy. Absolutely ridiculous.

Staff are nice but slow and understaffed. Calls are often unanswered.

I don't know what it is about this store, but it always seems kind of shabby to me. Maybe because this is an older store? And when I was in two days ago, I actually looked around to see if shelves were dirty or disorganized, but they weren't. Everything I looked at was neat and orderly. It just never seems to be as bright and sparkly like a CVS store -- even so, I can't see anything really wrong. So I'm telling you, go past your first impression and judge this store with clear eyes.A lot of things I like to buy are locked up. When I was looking for something pharmaceutical once and saw it was in a locked cabinet, I must have had a puzzled expression, because the pharmacy assistant said "people will steal anything." A sad sign of the times we live in, I guess. When I've asked for help, a store employee usually comes quickly. If you're in a hurry, though, this delay can be frustrating.Another sad sign of the times is the number of people begging outside the front door, or nearby along the fence on the south side of the paring lot. I've never encountered anybody rude or dangerous, but it can be disconcerting because you never know. There's an ATM at the front of the store, between the front door and the check-out counter. I appreciate this ATM especially because it's supported by my bank, and so I don't pay a fee. I'm not happy that there's no cover over the numbers, so I always put a bag over it so others can't observe my password. And you should be aware that a lot of people use this ATM, especially before holidays and weekends. I was in the store at 4:00pm on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving when I saw a woman calling for store help because the machine didn't dispense any cash. Probably it was empty. FYI -- Walgreen's staff can't help you if the machine doesn't work. You have to contact your banking institution. The thing I like best about this store is the staff. They are always nice and pleasant. How is that possible? They have to deal with all of us members of the ignorant public, and yet they still do their work quietly and efficiently. The line at the check-out counter in front has moved smoothly every time I've been there. I saw another reviewer here say they never open a second register, but on my most recent visit, a second register was open. Either the manager is a hiring genius, or the training employees receive is excellent.Prices are pretty much what you expect. Sales can be good, especially in the food aisle. Regular prices, though -- yikes! You're paying 7-11 prices for the food and drink, not Jewel prices. Convenience costs. But when you just gotta have a bag of chips, they're available. This is my neighborhood drug store, so I'll surely keep coming. But I wouldn't make a special trip here, if I was out of the area. It's a Walgreen's, with all the good and bad of a big chain. Keep your expectations low, and you'll be fine.

Trash pharmacy, like all Walgreens. Expect 30+ minute line every time no fail. Never more than 1 cashier

Pharmacy lines are so long. Slow. They need more cash registers and people at the pharmacy. Low inventory in store. Friendly staff, though. Good, mostly long-term, staff.

It's a pretty standard Walgreens. It's an old one, so kinda dingy. They have all the typical things you'll find at a Walgreens, since they're pretty cookie cutter sorts of stores. They don't have the updated queuing system but it's never so terribly busy that it should matter much. There's a large parking lot here though that's shared with Staples and the physical therapist office, but I've never seen it even close to full (who shops at Staples anymore?). There's not a drive up window here, and like every pharmacy the pharmacy is in the back (why do they force people who may be ill to go to the furthest reaches of the store?).
