Imagine calling the pharmacy to fill A prescription and being told with an attitude that they don’t have it in , And don’t know when they will be getting it. And then hang up the phone. This is one of the worst Walgreens in the city of Chicago. Please close it like you did the other ones.

ALAZE, the tech in pharmacy at the Walgreens at 31st and Halsted, in Chicago. was rude, short, curt, condescending and refused to complete my transaction. I had asked her name because of her bizzar behavior and the fact that she did not display any employee identifiers. She refused to provide her name and told the female pharmacist to complete the transaction.
Is this acceptable behavior ? Just asking!

I bought a gift card from Walgreens, and the redeem code on the card was maliciously damaged to the point of not being able to recharge it, but Walgreens is not responsible for this, so I paid for the gift card at their store, and they didn't lose any money, the gift card couldn't redeem it, so I need to take the responsibility myself! Please note! !! I WILL NEVER STEP INTO ANY WALGREENS STORE AGAIN..

One more words. I have bought a Visa gift card from this store, and just like another person go to the front desk make a payment for $100, and the store staff told me the card is ready to go, because I made the payment to them already, the second day I open the Visa card I realize that have to back code of 3, and I called them, they asked me to send a paper letter to them with my ID and the ¥100 dollars Visa, after 7-10 days the new card will arrive, that’s what he said. From now is more that 2 months, I didn’t receive nothing, but I just want to told all people, if buying gifts card from this company better to donate ¥200 dollars to them. They will always accept.

Ordered refill 2 weeks before needed and no idea when will arrive. Terrible and horrible service

Today at 3:45 pm I took my two children to this place to take passport photos. My two children were wearing blue and red jackets. I asked the clerk if my two children could take passport photos. She said that the color of my children's clothes could not be taken. I asked why the color of my children's clothes could not be taken. She said that they were wearing light-color shirts. I said their jacket were not light-color. She said that only my eldest son could be taken, and the younger one could not be taken,you still need to come be for the little one take the picture,I said OK, she said that even if she took the photo for my eldest son, I have to come back after an hour to get the photo and cannot wait in the store. I said I could wait in the store last time, but she said no, I have to go back to get it.

First I want to say that I do not come here often, if at all, so this was my first and only experience, I saw they had a lot of negative reviews but I wanted to shoutout one of the employees I believe his name was Darnell (something like that) a tall, AA, male who was very patient and kind with me during checkout, he had to void some stuff and do separate transactions but was very nice about it all, really gave me a great experience that I don’t get often at Walgreens.

Pharmacy staff here continue to outdo themselves. First they said the scripts would be ready in 1.5 hours. I come back 4 hours later and not only are they not filled but one of them is out of stock. In those four hours it took them almost 30 minutes to answer the phone. Not sure what they do all day since it’s not filling g prescriptions or answering calls.

3000 S. Halsted St, Chicago Illinois 60609
I know majority of the staff by name along with pharmacy department. They are always willing to assist me and/or let me know when new inventory will arrive if unavailable.
Keep up the great customer service.

Currently in been in the line for prescriptions in the pharmacy with exactly 13 people infront of me and it’s been 20 minutes and only 2 people have been serviced . 1 employee, 1 register but I see a bunch of staff behind desk just standing around . I don’t get it

Staff is nice and helpful. The place is clean and has a great selection. This is a great Walgreen’s.
