This store is ruining Walgreens for me. I place online orders at a, closer, better stocked Walgreens, and it gets transfered to this garbage store. Todays order, placed online at the 3110 Armitage store, never arrived. An hour after it was due, I called Customer Service. First operator hung up on me. Second operator put me on hold, came back to say they had spoken to the store and they were getting my order packed ASAP. An hour after that, the third CS operator told me that the 2440 W North Ave store is TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Walgreens.com still sending orders there, and somebody's answering the phone.

Decent spot, but a lot of empty or locked down shelves. Depending on what you're going for things will be fine or very frustrating.

TLDR: Don’t go here if you care about your health. Pharmacist is not thorough imo.
My spouse, who is immunocompromised, and I recently went in to get Covid vaccine boosters before a trip. My spouse was turned away by the pharmacist because he had 3 months left until 1 year from his last booster. That was a surprise to us because my spouse had never been turned away for getting an additional booster when needed. He is eligible for one every 6 months due to his conditions and medications that affect his lungs. We thought maybe the rules changed. Turns out they haven’t and if the pharmacist had done his due diligence, he would’ve seen in my spouse’s chart that he is on medications for conditions that make him eligible for a booster every 6 months. My spouse managed to protect himself from catching Covid all these years. Now we’re back from our trip and my spouse is battling Covid & having to take Paxlovid, all because the pharmacist here, in my opinion, is apparently stingy with the vaccines and not thorough. Covid is still here and is still serious enough that people should not be turned around so flippantly when they care to be boosted. Save yourself an illness and go elsewhere for your care. The workers here are probably overworked and Walgreens and their overwhelmed staff probably don’t care enough about your health.

I am so glad that Walgreens is still around it's a great store I don't like CVS or any of these little pharmacies so yes Walgreens number one

This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a pharmacy. I needed to get a prescription transferred from CVS, it's been 3 days since I requested them to transfer my prescription. Since then, I have called 5 times. 3 of those times, I was hung up on and 2 of those times, I was on hold for over 15 minutes. This is ridiculous, I wish I could keep my prescription at CVS.

Tried calling this pharmacy and they would pickup and hangup immediately, happened 3 times in a row. Not sure if the problem is with your phone system or your staff, either way, you should fix it.

This Walgreens is the same as north ave and Pulaski worst customer service I been on hold for 30 minutes just to talk to pharmacy on my daughters medication

I live nearby and it’s not the best. I spoke with management who was lovely, and asked when they receive shipments. They said they just unloaded and got everything, as if they were shocked by my question. However.. everything I came for was out of stock and some shelves didn’t have price tags. It wasn’t until I showed them pictures that they walked the store with me to check the stock of the items I needed. I was told the lack of stock was due to items being changed, understaff, and plain old “theft“.
If you have time or transportation, pick another location.
Walgreens is a huge company but many of these stores are lacking. Smh.

Twice this location was unable to administer a vaccine in person that I had scheduled with them earlier online. First because their system was down and then today because they “aren’t doing vaccines today”.
