I have had ongoing issues every month at this Walgreens trying to refill my inhaler, which is a critical daily asthma medication. Despite my doctor confirming prescriptions were sent, the pharmacy repeatedly tells me they have “nothing on file.”
Today I traveled all the way here, only to be told again there was no prescription. I asked to speak with the pharmacist in charge, but staff refused to let me. I documented names of employees, but one pharmacy tech (with blue hair) was extremely dismissive and rude to both myself and other customers. She needs to work in another profession because treating customers just wanting to pick up their medication this way is unacceptable.
This is not just an inconvenience - it is a serious health risk. Patients should not have to beg every month for life-sustaining medication. Refusing access to the pharmacist and failing to process prescriptions correctly is unacceptable.
I’ve since transferred my prescription to another pharmacy because this Walgreens has proven unreliable and unsafe. I hope corporate takes these complaints seriously, because patients deserve better.

Came here at 2am to get some otc medicine to help with being sick and the doors were locked. Waste of time to a come to a supposed 24 hour location
Edit: came here in the afternoon and the whole pharmacy is closed for lunch. Easier to just start sendings scripts to a 24 hour pharmacy
Edit (again): Still a rat hole of a location. Seems like if you want anything from here you can just grab it and walk out

Something sketchy is going on with this pharmacy. My prescription for Adderall was put in over a week ago but was immediately delayed. Ok fine I get it.
I called today, over a week later and the day another pharmacist had told me I can pick up my order because they will have received a fresh shipment, and I’m told that “there will not be enough to go around”. Now, I have a family member who is a pharmacist, many hours away from me, who said there is a shortage but not to the extent that they should be out of stock for pending tickets the same day they receive shipment even in a city, quoting it as bizarre. I have never waited this long. Even just last month I didn’t wait more than a few days and I always pick up my medication within a day or two of shipments.
Thankfully, my partner is on the same medication so I do not need to experience the negative side effects of needing to do a hard stop (I’m on a cocktail that requires doctors guidance to taper off of) Still warrants consideration for those in similar situations. This kind of stuff can put you in the hospital.

This walgreens is the worst-reviewed in the area for a reason. They regularly aren’t open despite being “24 hours”. Pharmacy is a mess and they were very unhelpful on the phone today. I feel bad for the good employees here that they have to deal with such a broken workplace.

Pharmacy techs here consistently seem annoyed and unhappy. There is a major problem with the uber prescription delivery system they use as well. Don’t get your prescriptions here.

Not 24 hours. Tried to go in after they unlocked the door for other people then shut the door and told me they were closed.

I was denied patronage to buy a 24pk of water and 2 vitamin waters by the manager, who had an attitude, and I asked her please to be nice because I have a disability and I can’t pick up the water but maybe she had a scanner code. Instead she walks behind the register and behind me and puts into a cart berating me behind her (in front of other customers) anyway — how if I can buy it how the hell am I getting it home?! I said I just needed a cart to be put in car. I reiterated to her that I have a disability. She again states I’ve been nothing but rude when I’ve been nothing but nice. Then proceeded to call 911 for a false report saying “yes, I have irate customer who’s in her 40’e, 50’s or 60’s” (yes FOIA the call) and I said “this is ridiculous I’m leaving” I’m in my 30’s. Obvious reasons why falsified a police call. You guys lost out on a sale. Unbelievable. Her actions violated the Americans with Disability Act.

Do not trust the information given to you at the pharmacy without double checking yourself as you could run a risk to not use the medicine properly. The service is the bare minimum. I came in with my 73 year old dad to pick up a prescription for him. When I picked up the medicine, I asked the person at the counter to have more information and to talk to the pharmacist since the assistant gave us the medicine without any indication on when (what time of day) and how (with or without food) to take it. Once I insisted to have more information, the person at the counter said, barely looking at the documentation, that the medicine could be taken at any time of the day, with or without food. I told my dad to take the medicine right away to ease his symptoms, but then 10 minutes later I read the documentation and saw that one of the pills should be taken in the morning, and with food. He had taken it in the afternoon because of this, and he slept poorly the following night as a consequence on top of still being sick. The impact could have been even more severe depending on the medicine at hand, so please be careful and insist to talk to a pharmacist even if the people at the counter try to just give you the medicine and have you leave as soon as possible.
