I will say that the pharmacy has lacked customer service since CVS and other Walgreens on North and Milwaukee closed. The store is nice after the remodel, and I'm surprised they didn't make the pharmacy bigger. I feel bad for the staff at the pharmacy; I can see they are working as efficiently as possible, and I can see the staff is stressed. Walgreens needs to hire more people.

Huge line, and everyone goes on break. I pick up a prescription and they leave out a medicine without mentioning anything. Avoid this place if possible!

Pharmacy is very very slow. Didn't even have any insurance issues and it took over 3 hours on a Friday afternoon (was told 30-45 minutes) initially. Had to wait another 30 minutes in line once they were "ready."Perpetually short-staffed.Will be moving my prescriptions to another location, or CVS.

Extremely slow service for prescription refills. Lines regularly 20-30 minutes. Consistently has 'insurance issues' for standard refills delaying getting medicine for my son.

Don’t use this pharmacy. I’ve had multiple prescriptions called her over the past six months and they can’t even find them in their system. Pharmtechs are less than helpful and there is always a wait as they can’t seem to figure anything out. Total waste of time and energy.

Pharmacy technicians are zero help. On hold for 45 minutes to an hour and sometimes don’t even get through.

The worst pharmacy on the planet. I dont care if you live behind the place dont waste your time. Lines literally at any point in the day, oh and calling in expect to wait 30-40 minutes to reach anyone. The people behind the counter behave like theyre in highschool. Place sucks

Somehow when they ran my insurance again bc the amounts didn’t seem right, it triggered the insurance to not cover the medications bc “it’s a refill too soon”. They told me to wait until they can call my insurance and they just continue to help people after people as the line continues instead of calling my insurance. When you call on the phone, even as a prescriber, they hardly pick up. They’re short staffed and do not care about customer service.

My daughter suffered for hours without pain medication twice because of Walgreens lack of care. The pharmacists act like childish store clerks and they don’t have the required knowledge to be successful. Have to use them because we have BCBS. Complaint into corporate. Will also be going to BCBS about being forced to use a substandard pharmacy like Walgreens.

This is my second attempt this week to get my medications. I just had a spinal cord stimulator surgery for my degenerative disc disease in my lower back but knew Walgreens had a Drive Thru to pick up all my meds so I’d be ok. NO. The drive through was closed. I limped my butt in there to see a line starting at the beginning of the isle. I stood there as long as I could, but couldn’t stand longer than 10 minutes at most. This is absolutely unacceptable. A PHARMACY should make it somewhat easy for people with disabilities. I have no choice but to go even longer w/o my medications which all of them I take daily. I haven’t slept much at all for almost a week due to not having my medications. People have medications that are vital to their medical conditions and this Pharmacy treats customers like an inconvenience. Do better. WAY WAY WAY BETTER.

I went in today to get my flu/Covid vaccine and Patricia was the best! So friendly even though I'm sure the whole staff is so busy right now. Patricia chatted with me throughout my appointment so I didn't even realize when she gave me the shots, and she was very clear in telling me everything she was doing as she did it. I wish she could give me all my vaccinations forever.

The pharmacist is a nasty piece of work and her demeanor is reflected by how the overallPharmacy operates. The pharmacy’s staff in general is rude and refuses to assist customers. It is way too difficult filling a simple Rx. And god forbid if you need to ask any questions, they will treat you like you just murdered their mom in front of them.

At first I was upset because there’s always a long wait on the phone to reach the pharmacy. But when I came in today on 9/28/23 . I completely see why they haven't answer. There were about 10 waiting on shots and 30 people in line. The team looked so stressed out . I even seen the manger helping pharmacy. Staff is really overworked . When spoken to a tech she stated patient volume has risen due to Walgreens and CVS closing in the area . Pharmacy team can’t control the high volume. After she told me that it really made me change my prospective of the pharmacy and have nothing but respect for them . Wicker park neighborhood please be more respectful to them . Pharmacist and Techs are underpaid to be mistreated by the neighborhood. Keep up the good work pharmacy
