I tried calling the store and the phone ring for a good 10 minutes and nobody picked up I wanted to see if they sold a certain item and I have to go out in the cold and walk to the store and see if they have it in person and that could wind up being a wasted trip if they don't have it when I could have just made a phone call and inquired what a drag

I booked an appointment online to get a Covid test done. I showed up(I confirmed the address via my confirmation email)
Corporate needs to do better because not only did I waste my time but lugging my ass there took so much out of me.
Like, did the location not get notified they had an appointment? If not, wtf corporate, if they did, why did I not get contacted to tell me I need to go to a different location?
Walgreens is a multibillion dollar corporation that can’t do what local doctor offices can and it’s disappointing

I understand that positions in retail and customer service are demanding jobs, but since when did all professionalism go out the window? Last week was checked out by a girl who was on FaceTime with a friend the entire time and tonight was checked out by a girl who was eating Chick-Fil-A out of a paper sack. Bffr. Who is managing this place?

Never had a problem at this pharmacy until yesterday . The pharmacy happened to have a mislabeled situation going on with my Omnipods. I picked up my prescriptions on 10/23 thinking what they gave me was the right thing . I called the next day Thursday to ask if they had mistakenly gave me the wrong box and the lady on the phone had no idea what I was talking about but she wasn’t rude . I called Friday 10/24 trying to explain to them that I don’t believe they gave me the right prescription which I needed because I had no way to give myself insulin the day before because of their mistake, the passed the phone to the pharmacist ( Asian male) he was very rude on the phone wouldn’t let me even explain to him and stated “that’s not my problem , that’s something you have to figure out call your doctor or the manufacturer.” Which I did and they told me to call my pharmacy. Not only was the customer service bad towards me but the employee of omnipod had to call up there to help and she also stated they told her that’s not their problem.
I talked to two people who worked for omnipod and when I told them about the box situation they said it was obviously a mislabel on their end and they just don’t want to admit it . I was told by my doctors to bring the three boxes up there . The pharmacist still tried to say he gave me the kit and he CLEARLY sees the label on the wrong box . He was still rude , they corrected the situation said it would take about a hour and everytime I said I’ll contact my doctor or the Omnipod employees to update them on the situation he said it was no need to do that . Also told me to “LISTEN” as if I’m his child , I am a 27 year old woman, who are you talking to sir ? I still called my doctor and the omnipod employees anyways because this entire situation was unprofessional on their end . Also the young short Hispanic lady at the front desk with glasses who told me to go to the consultation window was rude as well huffing and puffing like she was the type 1 diabetic without insulin for a ENTIRE day . As if I don’t have the right to be frustrated with them and their unprofessionalism. I just wish people who don’t really care for people health SHOULD NOT WORK ANYWHERE IN THE HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY. I did let the store manager for this Walgreens know about it , all she did was apologize which I appreciate her for even listening but I feel like this situation needs to be handled more than just a apology .

Extremely disappointing experience at this Walgreens pharmacy. On October 18th, I called at 11:38 AM CST to check on a prescription. The African American female employee who answered was incredibly rude, putting me on hold for over 30 minutes before hanging up. I called back at 12:34 PM, and she treated me like an inconvenience, huffing and puffing. When I explained I was following up on a prescription I'd received a "ready for pickup" text for, she yelled at me to "wait for a text" in an aggravated, sarcastic tone. This employee is relatively new and consistently provides very rude and poor customer service at the window to both me and my wife. It's disheartening that after being loyal customers at this location for over 20 years, we now feel compelled to change locations due to one employee's unprofessional behavior. Management needs to address this issue immediately.

Pharmacist was obviously deaf and couldn’t hear me at all. Had to shout to spell my last name. Can’t speak of all pharmacist here because some of them are actually nice and professional. However, the one I encountered today was both unhelpful and unprofessional. Would recommend more training of the staff here.

The Walgreens at Illinois & McClurg is getting worse and worse. I don’t go there much now since almost everything is locked there. But recent two time I went there trying to shop, Both times met with very rude and unprofessional staffs. I don’t know where the manager got those rude people, how can they work as customer service, they have no patience and decency. By this way, this store is going out of business eventually. I decided no more shopping there.

I put in a prescription order at the end of Dec 2023 while I was at my insurance's out of pocket max. Insurance approved the prescription order, and the pharmacy notified me it was ready for pick up with a $0 cost as expected. Upon arrival, the pharmacist accidentally cancelled the order while we were checking out. They tried to recreate the order but then told me I would have to pay the full price for the prescription because my insurance had reset now that it was the new year (Jan 2024). Customers should not be responsible for egregiously irresponsible mistakes made by pharmacy staff. The pharmacy manager responded to the scenario with an extremely poor attitude saying "we made no mistake, you can pay the full price or forfeit your prescription". Entirely unacceptable and unethical service. I've decided to permanently move all prescriptions to Amazon's online pharmacy. Service is better and more reliable. The prices are lower too.

Went to get passport photos. Took the workers 10 minutes to even come over to me. Another 30 to take and print out the photos. Extremely negative experience.
