I'm sitting here right now, waiting for the to fill a prescription they already said was ready when I called early this morning.
I'm on a 30min. lunchbreak from work, and they like it's a joke or that I have 2 hours to kill.
They've so consistently messed up the refill dates on medication being sent over from my doctor, that my insurance doesn't cover my medication on the accurate pickup days. Incompetent pharmacists that're apparently incapable of following through for their customers.

I don’t understand why the staff is always looking angry I understand they’re overworked but you work with the Public smile be nice. Say thank you. You’re welcome. Excuse me just don’t be so rude and cold. I don’t need a kiss just to smile and thank you, sir. I do take names down that I see under name tags, but I won’t mention them now hopefully things will change. They will read these reviews. Thank you.

If I could rate this horrible pharmacy with zero stars I would. I swear whoever is in charge of hiring the staff is just as incompetent because it seems like every employee is incapable of doing the job. Yet, they have the nerve to give the customers an attitude when we have to explain to them what they’re doing wrong. At this point, we have to constantly inform our insurance/or doctors to reach out to them so that they can actually do their damn job and this has been an ongoing issue.

They continually make promises that they cannot keep. My sister was driving in from downers Grove to pick up an order that they promised to have at the front desk she drives in from downers Grove to find out that they have no idea what she’s talking about there is no order sitting behind the counter like she was informed. If it was the first time I would ignore her but this happens constantly constantly all the time Walgreens is definitely going down the tubes were finding other stores much more reliable sorry Walgreens you have failed miserably

If I could give zero stars I would!!! The pharmacy and new pharmacist are horrible!!! Mine and my families prescriptions were never filled and then we would get a million calls saying it was ready so we'd go pick it up and nothing was ready. I had an issue with my diabetic medication and the pharmacist was beyond rude to me and because her staff gave me double of my medication one month (I didn't know I thought that was the correct amount I just started taking medication) I went next time I needed medication and they gave me half of what I expected I asked the pharmacist why I wasn't getting my previous amount of medication and she rudely said that I got $1200 worth of medication for free I should be happy about it... That was her staffs fault not mine I just got diagnosed diabetic in March I didn't know. That was my last straw and now we go to archer and central where they actually fill the prescriptions correctly and are genuinely kind and respectful there. 63rd and Austin has the worst pharmacy ever!!!

Pharmacy always says medication is ready and then you go to pick and they say the medicine is not in stock. Make that make sense. Which one is it? Is it ready or not?

The pharmacy people are ridiculous. They charged me $20 for my prescription medicine that's actually costs $10. Upon checking with my insurance and provider, they said that they called the pharmacy, they even send the prescription again. But the old lady Diana kept on refusing to give back our money.
Also, their new employees are not trained enough to provide appropriate information to the customers. I asked them once to redeem my $10 coupon and earn points in the same transaction. The girl on the register said yes, I can do that. And after the transaction, I realized I couldn't redeem my coupon and she threw away the coupon and didn't even give my discount for HER mistake.
Also, a year ago, we had to take our passport size photos from this Walgreens. The girl who took our photo was not well-trained at all. She took our photo a bit cornered and we told her that "these photos will not be accepted by immigration office. Please take new photos of us." She said she will have to ask her manager and the manager refused. She said you will have to pay again for the photos. I mean really? Those photos costs $27-30 per 2 photos. And that's for a sole reason to submit to immigration stuff. Forgot to mention here that the photos taken by the Walgreens girl was rejected totally. We then went to a CVS where the guy took his own time to take the perfect photos which were actually accepted by the immigration office. The CVS guy literally threw photos which had a bit darker background and did the photoshoot again. That's how the shopper's integrity should be.
The only reason I go to this Walgreens is it's nearby my house. O/w I would never step in. There are more stories of this Walgreens when they gave me issues while using or earning my rewards. But let's not mention that because those are just very small things they don't take care of.

Rude pharmacist, I asked her if I can use Apple Pay, which she said no to which I understand policy you know. But I told her to give me a few minutes to transfer money into the only physical card I had. And she got upset of how long it was, and we’re rolling her eyes. Then throw my son medicine into a clear Walgreens bag without a bag then throw a syringe, realize that she forgets to put the medicine in a white bag so she throws the white bag in the clear one I don’t understand how people have horrible customer service

Horrible service at the pharmacy. The techs are to busy talking amongst one another. They never answer the calls and leave you on hold only to disconnect your call after waiting 45 minutes. Will be switching all prescriptions to Osco on Archer.
