Slow, incompetent, and inconsiderate pharmacists. Do not use this pharmacy unless you have plenty of time to waste

Do not use virtual receipt option at Walgreen. When you need to do a return, the product descriptions and UPC code items as well as cost of item or special promotions are not on the receipt. Even the total cost of your purchase show up only incomplete currency format “$50.1” … not $50.10 so you have to guess what your total cost of your purchase.. No info on what payment method you made or tax you paid. It’s seem the important info you want to know is your reward from this purchase!!

There is always an issue with the pharmacy. They're either closed or the technician is too lazy to fill the prescriptions in a timely manner. I was told a prescription would be ready in 10 minutes but when I went to pick it up the next day, the technician lied and said they hadn't had it delivered yet. Not to mention she was incredibly disrespectful. This was the final push to get me to transfer my prescriptions to Amazon Pharmacy.

Bought a rum chata and the walgreens plastic bag ripped as soon as I arrived at home. Don’t trust their plastic bags. Avoid the headache, because if it breaks outside the store, walgreens will do nothing for you.

Today at about 3pm: Cashier asks in the beginning of transaction, “Would you like a bag?”. I answered “Yes, please”. Completed my transaction with my debit card. I told the cashier, “Can I have a bag?”. He replies, “That’s why I asked you! Do you have 7 cents?” I answered, “No”. (Hence, the reason why I used my debit card).
Then he proceeded to the next customer.
Is this good customer service?
As a former employee at CVS and Osco… I suggest getting self-checkout machines if this is the kind of service you are offering.

I had been to the Pharmacy there, the girl today there treated me as if I was dumb. Doesn't matter what your personal situation is- there is no reason anyone should treat others that way, anywhere! I don't know if it was because of my hair do or my language because I was nice and I only had my hair in a bun.
Maybe next time I should be rude and have my hair with tree branches in it? what?

Average walgreens nothing special, not sure why Walgreens are being reviewed.

I hate this walgreens. The workers in the pharmacy are rude and not helpful. Sometimes they will never have the medication and it took almost a month to receive it!! And it was an important pain medication! Every other walgreens pharmacy I have been to has been super helpful and kind. This location is not good at all.

Worst pharmacy staff at Nagle and Devon location . They tell you the prescription is not there when it clearly states doctor sent to this Walgreens I go to pick up for my mom that is going through cancer treatment and they tell me I have to wait till next day. Sister calls and finds out that they do indeed have in stock… I do not live in Chicago so I drive out from the suburbs I could have picked up prescription then but was given incorrect information. This is not the first time they have done this but this time I will write a review so that hopefully the higher ups will get this corrected.

The store is running well, and the pharmacy is very goodFor the life of me, wall greens text, help and automated phone help is the most atrocious example of old technology I've seen in quite a long timeThey should be embarrassed

Pharmacy visit was quick, and if you do have to wait it's not long.

I had horrible service from a pharmacy technician/cashier at the 6310 N Nagle location on Sat Sept 9 10am. I came in 15 minutes early for a vaccination appointment which I scheduled for 3 people-myself and my two children ages 6 and 4. As soon as I came up to the cashier she had extreme attitude with me. She turned around to the pharmacist and said "Do we even do vaccines for 4 year old's?" She continued to be extremely rude. We then all went into the little room and she forced me and both of my children to put on masks. She had disposable masks in her hand and shoved them at us and wouldn't let us in without them. My 6 year old wears glasses and his glasses fog up with masks. She would not give him the shot unless his mask was over his nose, she kept scolding him to put up his mask. She was very rude and cold to my whole family, and children can pick up on these things. She never greeted us or said any niceties to us. My 4 year old was then very scared and felt very uncomfortable because he never wears a mask and this mean lady was forcing us to. He cried and didn't want to get his shot. This lady said "I can get my pharmacist but she will just tell you to hold him down." I had about enough of this woman so I told her yes I would rather have your pharmacist and I would rather wait for her. This tech/cashier should not be giving shots nor should she really be working with the public at all due to her bad attitude and lack of customer service skills, and furthermore Walgreens cannot and should not be forcing their customers to mask in September 2023. This is illegal and this cannot be tolerated.I would not recommend anyone come to Walgreens for a vaccine. Lesson learned- I will only be going to the pediatrician and real medical facilities for vaccines.

Incorrectly marked insurance problems on a prescription. Insurance had to call them to sort it out. Then I called hours later asking when it would be filled. They have a time and we showed up an hour later and it wasn't filled. Don't say stuff will be done if it isn't.
