I’ve never had pharmacy pick up the damn phone ever. That’s why everyone is waiting for their RX. Do they realize that picking up the phone for a minute will help them out. It’s like a cause and effect. They are busy because they don’t answer calls and not answering calls makes them busy. Pick up the damn phone. Take a minute. Clean up your act. Get someone in there that knows how to run a pharmacy and utilize the staff correctly.

Pharmacist staff is very nice. But be prepared to be in line for 15 to 20 minutes when you go to pick up your prescription. Always a long line.

Website Wouldn’t let me combine my order for a ohoto frame and my ohoto print into 1 order.
And didn’t let me order my photo frame for pickup bc the total was not $10 (but it actually was, it was $10.02 after tax (

Literally the rudest customer service ever. Stood in line for 15 minutes watching them disrespect their customers and be just straight up rude. Mind you, I called earlier that day, they said my meds were ready, and to come in. I finally get to the desk and they tell me to go "walk around" for 15 more minutes for them to be ready. I come back 15 minutes later just to be told to wait again because they forgot. There was another girl in front of me who was told to wait too and she was STILL WAITING even after I got my meds. So unprofessional, disrespectful, disorganized, what a sad staff of pharmacists.

The pharmacy technician at this location are probably the most unqualified and irresponsible individuals I have ever encountered. They are unable to communicate effectively with patients or with each other and routinely mismanage and misfill prescriptions. I have yet to have a single prescription filled correctly or on time. I wouldn’t recommend going to this location unless you want to unnecessary delays…horrible customer service and inadequate patient care. Hopefully the pharmacist can provide the staff with adequate re-education and remediation until they are up to par.

I cannot speak to the quality pharmacist because I've not interacted with them. however, pharmacy staff and technicians are so deplorably bad that I would say this is the worst Pharmacy on the north side of Chicago. I have yet to get a prescription filled correctly at this location. The staff don't know what they're doing half the time and lack adequate communication with not only patients but with each other. I receive a call telling me my medication is ready to pick up when I arrive and they tell me that it's been pulled from the system. Based on the experience, I have had they also dispense incorrect dosage of medication routine routinely. I truly would not recommend visiting this facility if you need your medications filled unless you want to deal with errors upon errors and poor customer service. Save yourself the trouble and take the 10 minute commute up north to the Walgreens on Clark and Catalpa. If I could leave half a star, I would.

Consistently out of stock. One bottle of spray neutrogena sun screen IN JULY. Couldnt fine Renu contact solution a week ago. Employees don't care. They say call corporate. Which I did. Doesn't make the store any better tho. Go somewhere else that will have whatever it is you need.

Amanda in the photo department was extremely helpful polite and went above and beyond I had three large collage poster boards that I had to do for my job retirement party that was taking place at 2:30 I came in at 12:00 and was out of there by 1:00. I was clueless on how to do it and some of the photo tasks that needed to be done was a little bit more challenging and she came through like a champ

I want to give a shout out for Rona. She was working at the register tonight at the Walgreens 1500 W. Wilson Ave, Chicago. She gave me a 10% senior discount that I didn't know I was entitled to. Today is Senior discount day at Walgreens. She remembered my shopping habit of bringing my large bag to put my purchases in. I think it is rare in a big city like Chicago for staff people to remember your shopping habits. Rona gave a personal touch to my shopping tonight. She is an excellent Walgreen's employee. Pharmacy staff here is the best!--- Personable, nice, helpful and friendly. They even address me by my first name, as I must be a frequent visitor. ;-) They are patient & willing to spend the time to look up details on the computer related to the problem you're having. I had an RX that i started at half the dosage and then started taking the full dose. It was somewhat confusing when I went to refill it. The starting dose amount had a refill, but , then I couldn't do anything with the full dose rx. Apparently I had asked for the half dose RX to be canceled, and instead the full dose RX had been canceled. As confusing as all that was , the pharmacist offered to call the doctor and explain to her why they needed a brand new prescription.

They have very long lines at the pharmacy and only one person to help customers check out. Regardless of what time of day you go, you will encounter this. This pharmacy has been managed poorly since I started coming about 3 years ago. There are multiple people working behind the desk in the Pharmacy but they never assist-they see the line and simply ignore it.

It's nearby and it's a Walgreens...but that's about it. It's one of their locations that hasn't been updated in years and it shows. It a little outdated and dingy in there, but it has a pharmacy and is typically pretty well stocked. I will say the staff that I've interacted with is friendly and I've seen other folks bring in dogs so I'm thinking it's animal friendly. If it was cleaner I would be much more inclined to come here, but I would rather drive to the CVS on Southport for a better/cleaner experience.
