Just spoke with Ariel who stated she was the supervisor. Ariel was rude, yelling, continuously over talked me and showed NO concern for my call. Terrible reflection of Webpass and I feel sorry for the customers she serves to have an experience like this... Ariel provided THE WORST customer experiences I've received this year...

Excellent install tech plus regular speeds of 700+ hundred Mbps up and down. This is the best ISP I've ever had as well as the least expensive.

I have been a Fiber customer since they first came to the KC area. And a few months ago when there were changes in my life ‘I cut cord’, since that occurred I have been even more pleased with Fiber. I very recently came back home from a vacation and my home Wi-Fi was not working. I called on Sunday evening and a tech was scheduled for early afternoon the next day. About 2 hours before the appointment the tech called asking if he could arrive early. He wasn’t able to fix it but did schedule for another tech got the next day. I was very pleasantly surprised when at 7 pm the same evening the doorbell rang and there was a Google tech. He very discreetly fixed my Wi-Fi. As long as Google Fiber rids themselves of ECC. I will remain a fan and give recommendations for their internet services.

This is a bait and switch for small buildings. It seems like a great deal for large buildings but for small buildings, there is smoke and mirrors. I was very disappointed that they were not upfront about costs and requirements. The website is misleading and the representative led us through a preliminary process that was misleading. After the process of board approval, he then stated a cost that differs significantly from the website. It would have been good to have the full information up front. I am very disappointed in the transparency. Beware.

Great but can be unreliable :(The bad:- Outages during precipitation. Complete outages during the majority of snowstorms for the entire duration of the storm. Similar situation for more severe rain storms. Confirmed with Webpass tech that this is expected behavior and not a hardware issue.- Outages due to single points of failure. We've had an outage due to a random other building in the neighborhood losing power. It seems that every Webpass-using residence in an area can act as a single point of failure, so if one building loses power, everyone in the area experiences an outage. The good:- Great speeds! Both latency and bandwidth speeds are amazing.- Very reasonably priced. Been using them for years and rates have never gone up.Even with the bad I still recommend Webpass. However, if you work from home, you know that internet stability is very important. I've experienced outages that prevented me from working entirely. I'll probably get a wireless hotspot backup just in case for the next outage.

tl;dr-- Sign up for Google Fiber--you will not be disappointed. My internet went down the other day and a Google Fiber tech named Julio had to come out first thing the following AM. The whole interaction was beyond exceptional, in terms of both experience and resolution (Julio solved the thing I called about, then he solved a problem I didn't know I had (something about wires in the wall), and then also solved a future problem I would have had NO idea to ask about (was using an older/slower router, which he replaced with a Google device for free without my even asking).I work from home so connectivity is critical for me. His demeanor and expertise put me right at ease. As he was leaving I gave him a very specific, enthusiastic compliment about the service behaviors he displayed that have now (clearly) turned me into a loyal customer. After I gave him that compliment, he didn't skip a beat in replying warmly "we are all like that. you can call us sooner next time, our customers are everything to us and we'll make it out to you even if we are busy".What a statement! He was so genuine and authentic, and the fact that he took that moment to further reassure me that I'm in good hands regardless of who comes out--was just perfect.Anyway, Julio ended up coming by 3 times in 25 hours, due to an issue with my building wires. After that first encounter above, Julio texted me with his work cell number and said to let him know if there are any issues. Internet went down again (the issue was the building not the service), I called the 1800 number and they were great but said they could get someone out the next morning at 10:30. I texted that to Julio to let him know, and rather than having me wait he came over THAT SAME EVENING with a partner, stayed until 8PM until everything was sorted out.Everything is good now, problem solved. And get this-- as if all of that above wasn't enough, Julio came back at 9AM THE NEXT DAY just to help me with cord management based on where we had to put the router. He took care of everything, it looks fantastic. All of this, the house calls and the Wi-Fi device Julio provided was free of charge. I cannot recommend Google Fiber strongly enough. I am and Experience Consultant as my job, I think about this stuff all day and clearly service is a priority for me. That isn't the case for everyone but if you like knowing a team has your back, go with Julio and Google Fiber. :)As a sidebar: you can also use this code to get a free month of internet: lilian-97865

If your building is hooked up with webpass it is the best and easiest internet in the city. I had it for 5 years with zero issues. Did I mention it is cheap and super fast? True Gig up/down all day.

In Chicago moved into a 107 unit building. Tried Webpass. LOVE IT. Great speed, great price, good service - everything is super simple. It’s half the price of Xfinity for twice the speed and 99% fewer hassles.

I run a broadcast production company where uptime and high speeds are extremely critical. Especially during a pandemic when many of our staff are remote. WebPass worked flawlessly for the entire time we used it. Highly recommend it to anyone who needs fast, reliable Internet.

Our connection is unreliable and often spotty. We find ourselves disconnected from our conference calls regularly. The download speed is fast but the connection needs to be more reliable. In some cases we go several seconds without being able to reconnect. This is evident in gaming and in conference calls. We are paying $70 a month and have had the connection since 3/24 but we may be switching providers if it doesn't improve soon.

I've had Google Webpass for almost two years and my experience has been excellent. I've never had to call them, they've never had to call me. There hasn't been a single notable outage. My friends who have Webpass and I have never experienced the referenced flickering with bad weather. If this was a real problem, it'd be a non-starter, since we get a lot of bad weather in Chicago. If you're considering not purchasing this service due to the "bad weather" reviews from three years ago, trust me and ignore them. The price is cheap and the service works great. Obviously, it is way faster if you use a cable, but I never have had reason to.
