Normally, I wouldn't review a Walgreens, but this one went above and beyond. There's a special pain cream I use and they were out. An employee saw me in the aisle frantically looking for it, and they could probably notice the disappointed look on my face. She told me that a shipment had just came in, went into the back and opened some of the boxes to get me my product. I was super impressed by that.

One of the worst experiences I've had at a pharmacy. I waited 4 hours to fill a simple prescription. they sent me off 3 times. I won't be back

This Walgreens is going from bad to worse. Find a real pharmacy to get your medications from.

If you want a prescription filled in a timely manner, do Not go here. My doctor called a script renewal on a Friday. I went to pick it up in the next Monday at noon. I was told that it was not ready, they had the med in stock and to come back in 1.5 hours. I came back 5 hours later, waited in line for 15 minutes to be told it was not yet ready. The medication is expensive, not covered by my insurance, so I just bite the bullet and pay for it. The clerk spent another 10 minutes walking around and it turns out the miniscule 'discount' had expired. I said 'no problem, can I just buy the meds...' They acted all put out and I had to apologize for not being thankful.... So I waited another 10 minutes and was finally able to buy my meds. Something is wrong with Walgreens. Every other cosmetic, soap, personal care item is locked up. There are no people around if you need customer service. Because this is a for profit company, with shareholders, their motive is profit only. They are one of the reasons that health care in the US is a mess. Out of four other Walgreens in the Chicago area, this is the worst one I have been to in the past two years. Will check if I can get my meds at Costco.

Machine to check in for appointments doesn't work while we stat in the waiting drill for 45 minutes while they sat behind locked doors. Checked in online but they didn't "see it", Customer service zero, I hate these places they could at least try to make the people in here who feel terrible not more aggregated. I hate our health care system, privatizing it at Walgreens is not the solution.

Moved some prescriptions to this Walgreens. The other one I was using just was a mess, and didn't have the features that made it worth going to (location, drive-through, and 24 hour pharmacy). This location is a bit closer to me, with drive-through, so I made the switch.I've only been here once but it was fine. This is an older location so I expect the inside is dingy compared to the newer and renovated stores, but I don't expect to be going in anytime soon so it probably is irrelevant for me.

Pharmacy notified me that prescription would be ready in an hour. After an hour and twenty minutes I was told I'd have to wait another thirty. I had a baby with me who was also approaching his limit. I doubled back home to drop him off, got a text stating my Rx was ready, went back and was told to sit for another thirty as they "began preparing it" The place is understaffed. Two pharmacists are left to make ends meet for a very busy store. Walgreens treats their employees as poorly as their patrons

This Walgreens, though well-stocked and clean, is always a disappointment. Had my scheduled Covid booster - still had to wait in RX line, still had to re-fill online form, still had to wait 45 minutes with no one ahead of me. Which gave me plenty of time to look around at how shabby it is - the trim on the prescription counter is all but peeled off, the chairs for waiting are also peeled, pitted, and disgusting! Bought a couple of things and again baffled by the rude, clueless cashiers - which is why, even though this is my neighborhood, I always go to the Walgreens downtown.

Once again the pharmacy has failed us. My doctor called in a prescription for Covid antivirals. I waited 4 hours for a text to hear that it was filled. Tried to call, no one answered. Drove over. They didn't have the drug in stock, although their system claims they have 34 dosages. So their system failed and their communication failed. Currently waiting at CVS. Almost every visit has a problem. If 2 drugs are ordered, almost invariably only one will be ready. The store is a disaster.

Terrible service this afternoon, I will never frequent this Walgreens again. Walgreens is currently running a sale for 3 large Monster Energy for $6. The sale did not ring up correctly at the register so the cashier stated they must not be on sale. I explained to him that the display says they are on sale and that I had received the same sale at the Walgreens on Broadway, by the L.A Fitness, a few days ago with no issues. He just sort of shrugged, so I asked for a refund. Enter the manager, who gave me attitude right off the bat. She stated that it must be the regular size Monsters on sale and not the larger ones. When I explained the display clearly shows the larger Monster she just rolled her eyes. Frustrated, I asked if I could show her. She agreed, and sure enough, the digital display showed the 3 large monsters for $6.00. She opened the refrigerator door and said, "Look, $3.69." I pointed to the sale that said 3 for $6 and explained to her I had gotten the same deal at another Walgreens a few days earlier. She AGAIN stated that it must have been the regular Monsters, as if I had a short term memory about my purchase less than a week ago. I told her that, no, I had purchased the large ones. She then used the excuse that the display was old and needed to be reprogrammed. When I pointed out the sale ends on 11/27 she just huffed and walked away. I've worked in retail so I get there are bad days, but to insinuate that I was lying or making things up was super frustrating. All the evidence was right in front of her face, but she REFUSED to even listen. Not going back ever again.

I strongly suggest that you do not schedule your Covid vaccination here. First of all, scheduling the appointment on line is ridiculous, because it had no bearing on what would actually happen. I arrived before my scheduled appointment time and was told I needed to wait in the same line as people who were picking up prescriptions. There was a couple immediately in front of me in line, both of whom were also getting vaccinations, and when someone eventually came to call one of them, the other one said, "Um, could you please help him first? He had the 10 o'clock appointment." And so did I. I was eventually called at 10:37. I don't begrudge anyone their prescriptions, but what was the point of making an appointment? Just name it by the way it is handled: Walk-in. Another way that making the appointment was ridiculous: I also requested to have a flu shot at the same time. When the person was getting ready to inject me with the Covid vaccination, I asked her if this was the flu shot as well. She said, "Did you have a flu shot appointment as well?" I had, in fact, made this appointment for BOTH the Covid vaccine and the flu shot. She had no idea. Again: what was the point of making the appointment? I was so frustrated by having to wait over a half hour for the wrong appointment that I said, "Look, if you're not ready, then forget it. Just give me the Covid vaccine." There are many more details that added to the poor experience, but this is getting lengthy. Just think twice before you consider going here for a Covid vaccination.

Vaccine experience at this Walgreens could not have gone better. I'm amazed I didn't feel it. They were very kind and professional. In general I am not so happy with this Walgreens' folks most of the time. But today, in the Pharmacy, with the vaccine- Big happy face.

tried to walk up here today and there was a woman defecating and peeing at the front of the store. Every time I come here there are men outside the store harassing women. I feel like something could be done but nothing is ever done and it's gross. Just make an extra 5 minute trip and go to a different Walgreens/cvs around here. not to mention the workers are almost always rude.

Man I've been trying to give this location a chance for several years now they have the worst pharmacy customer service experience ever. You call and the people that answer the phone are so rude and so condescending. They don't listen after you tell them what the story is they just come back And you realize they didn't listen at all. You can't Go there on a lunch break to get your meds because you'll be standing in a line that goes all the way down the aisle for more than a half hour I always have to end up leaving. Go back after work same thing. Two or three years ago I had the manager of the pharmacy call and tell me that they were trying to get back up on speed with the training staffing but that never ever happened it just got worse. Calling it in the morning with an emergency asking for a manager you get told to call back after three. Sorry WALGREENS transferring all my prescriptions elsewhere. Again, Answer the phone like in a serious angry way Attitude like how dare you bother them. I was just told that they would fill my prescription I should come in in a couple hours and if it's not there then I can wait I said well I'll just come back in four hours and it should be there right and she said maybe. Bye.
