The Whole Foods in Hyde Park started out as the premier food store to shop. Within the last year the WF has gone from a 5 rating to 1. Many many empty shelves, rotten vegetables and more. Apparently the store manager doesn't oversee his/her store or these things certainly wouldn't exist. I shop in store and by delivery. The shoppers just fill the bags. I have received rotten avocados, black okra, expired carrots, brown bananas, broken sweet potatoes, chicken products with expiration days with 2 days. King salmon that was only good after 1 day, etc. I could go on and on, but my point has been made. If you are looking for a great shopping experience at this location , you will only get it from some employees who have integrity and pride in what they do. I had to mention those great staff I have encountered many times. They are the best part of this store.

I had a Amazon return that I took there. I shopped for food afterwards. When I went threw the self checkout line I had two meat items that had a UPC code sticker that was taped bunched together. I couldn't scan the items, so I have to strain my eyes to see the small print numbers to type in for them to get rained up.

Service is not helpful this time. I was advised to go a new cashier after lining the second . I can understand the new cashier Faith needs time to learn. But I can’t say she was helpful when she was inefficient, reading the booklet when the customers were waiting, unable to answer my question and didn’t give any polite gestures ( I mean no smile, ignore my question, no verbal appreciation of our waiting). Skillfulness and friendliness you need to at least have one. Took me 20-25 mins to pay when there weren’t that many people. Anyway, don’t give your responsibilities of training new cashiers to us customers.
