Very cute store and I was happy to see they are still taking covid seriously! I've never been to a dedicated yarn store but the staff helped me find the perfect yarn for the sweater I'm crocheting.

This is a small shop with a large, and well-curated selection. They specialize in local yarn and related products by local artists. Delightful and knowledgeable staff. I will be back the next time I visit Chicago!

My favorite Illinois yarn shop! The staff is amazing, and there is always such a great selection of yarn here. In the very back is a pretty huge clearance section which I also love! If you're in Chicago for a small amount of time and you're conflicted about which of the many yarn shops to go to, definitely go either here or Sister-Arts Studio. Only downside is that parking stinks here and you may have to park somewhere for a good amount of money! May just be cheaper to Uber here. But either way is worth it for sure!! AND if you forget what yarn you bought here, if you message them on Facebook, sometimes they can let you know! Can not wait to go back <3

Excellent variety of yarns and colors, and helpful staff. Well worth the stop - and a great stash of needles. I’ll be going back there soon.

I found this store because I was spending a few days in Chicago and I love looking for yarn stores in the cities I visit. And this one is magnificent. They have very high quality wool and in incredible colors and textures. I would have taken the entire store.
The staff, very nice.
It is also very well located, in the center of Chicago and with close access by subway or bus.
I totally recommend it, and if I return to Chicago, I will go looking for more wool.

What a nice shop! I'm visiting from out of town and always look for local yarn stores to get a souvenir (e.g. a locally made stitch marker). They had exactly what I wanted (and had plenty of local artists' work!) and were so kind. I highly recommend visiting!

The ladies (I didn’t get their names) were so attentive and gave excellent recommendations! There was a great selection of local yarns and name brands. Such a nice place to shop around, have a chat and take a class at the communal table.

Went out of my way to come here while visiting Chicago and was sorely disappointed! Incredibly unhelpful and rude staff. Seem much more interested in talking about true crime amongst themselves than actually helping customers. Very uncomfortable.

Terrible customer service. Overcharging for yarn as well. They made me unwelcome and uncomfortable

I cannot recommend this yarn shop enough. Was visiting Chicago, and I was looking for a crochet pattern and yarn (I can no longer knit due to hyperextension, so I've picked up crochet). They have an excellent selection, are openly LGBTQ friendly, and the service was warm and welcoming. A week later, after struggling with the pattern, I gave them a call. Anna patiently walked me through the issue I was facing, going over process photos with me until I understood the instructions. I make it a habit to visit yarn stores when traveling, and Yarnify is one of the best!

Cute little yarn shop. Employees were friendly and informative. Relatively close if you're staying in the Chicago downtown loop.

A bit late to writing this review, but aside the items available in store, customer service is A1. I went with my mom during Christmas to acquire a gift. I'm bilingual, but don't know much about sewing/crocheting/knitting. We got the gift, but my mom was trying to explain something else she needed and I was doing my best to figure out what she was looking for. I wish I had gotten her name, but one of the employees noticed and came back using Google translate to decipher what my mom wanted. It was above and beyond what I've seen most employees do in order to help a customer-- and I worked 14 years in customer service. Thank you guys!
