I often get lunch at Zoup, and its great. I always order the Lobster Bisque, and its good. Ordering online is easy, and its usually ready on time. The price for a cup is reasonable, as the portion is enough for lunch.

Very delicious lunch downtown. We tried multiple soups and loved everything. Love that the soups rotate daily so there is always something new to try. Grilled cheese dippers were a

Terrible service and lack of appreciation for their customer, you’d think these loop businesses learned post Covid, this one certainly didn’t.

The food is very good! Feels like a more premium Panera bread. Get the Mac n cheese and get the lobster bisque. You won't regret it!

My CURRENT (TODAY'S) experience was very disappointing. Despite the restaurant's negligence, my order was given to someone else and I lost my food. However, what prompted me to write this review was the rude behavior of the delivery lady towards the Doordash driver named Dale, who was trying to help me by obtaining more information. The delivery lady's behavior was extremely unpleasant and I would never recommend ordering from ZOUP again.I LOST MY FOOD AND MONEY - NEVER ORDER ZOUP.

Very yummy! A little on the pricy side for soup, but by far some of the best I’ve found in the city. Also love their grain bowls!

I ordered the chicken pot pie soup. It was very bland. This soup used to taste exactly like a chicken pot pie. The crust sprinkles on top now taste more of flour than crust. Very disappointing for a $11 bowl of soup.

The food and service were good. The problem I have is the price for everything. You get a small container of soup for $8. Even the large portion is just slightly taller...........

Maybe I am at fault for ordering a salad, but it was awful. Not only did they forget my bread (which I explicitly ordered....I need my carbs, yo!) but the salad was bland and boring and lacking. The menu indicated there was gorgonzola in the salad, but I could not find any. I added chicken as a protein (and upcharge) but there was not much at all. The salad also included the brownish ends of the romaine hearts - most people cut those off and discard! Lastly, the entire salad had an almost "chemical" taste to it. I believe that came from the dressing, but not sure. Highly disappointing as a first time (and last time) customer.

I got the seafood etoufe and chicken barley. It came with bread. I think a little pricey for a bowl of soup, $9. I had 1 shrimp in the whole bowl but it was tasty and you could taste the seafood, just very little of it. Staff was friendly and I was able to dash in and dash out. It does appear that they have a good selection. I will have to try them again when I have more time and can dine in. My girl got the barley chicken and didnt give me any feedback (we didnt eat together) but it looked good. Soup came with a sourdough roll and butter.

I ordered lunch from Zoup! today on GrubHub. Unfortunately, my order was late which meant that Good, Really Good Chicken Noodle, and Grilled Cheese Sandwich were both cold. Ok so probably not Zoup!'s fault as they cannot control GrubHub deliveries. What I was upset about is the quality of the food that I received. The grilled cheese was not even toasted, cut into strips and mashed all together. The Chicken Noodle Soup was lacking the basic necessities. After paying $17.20 for the large (32 oz) soup so that I could take some home I find that more than 50% is broth and there was barely any noodles, chicken, or vegetables. Very disappointing and would not recommend them following this experience.

3:24am I work near the Zoup on Adams. On 8/18 a friend and myself decide to go to get lunch from here. I hadn't been here since the pandemic started. As you all may not know since the start of the pandemic Im keenly aware of what the individuals who prepare my food do behind the counter. As I was ready to order I was waiting for the individuals before me to order. And a watch like a hawk. I noticed the individual who was on sandwich duty on his cell phone. No worries he was wearing gloves, so we should be fine. Then he takes his hand and wipes his brow with the back of it., no worries again, he's wearing gloves. The individuals who were in front of me ordered a sandwich. So the cashier another gentleman who was not wearing a mask verbally signals to the sandwich guy the order. Fully expecting a glove disposal, hand wash and glove change, that DID NOT HAPPEN. With the same cell phone infected sweaty brow gloves that delicious sandwich was made. what did I just see. Why cross contamination sir! But I'm a.... What is the opposite of pessimist.... Well I'm one of those people. I chalked it up to maybe cell phone residue and hot man brow sweat maybe some kind of new seasoning Zoup has for their food. You know how they have those cool hip names for their meals. Just image, here is todays special, seasoned with our house seasoning we call, cell-phone-residue-hot-man-brow- sweat-sauce. How flavorful, given the salty sweat. That's was the joke for those who missed it. Mmmm mmmm good. It was my turn to order. I fought the urge to whisper to the non mask wearing cashier to ask for "clean food please." Like the narrator did in the Movie and Book of the same name Fight Club. Perhaps I should have because maybe I wouldn't be up at 3:24am writing this Yelp review. 8/19. The food was good. Seasoned very well! . We decided to go back, but to our surprise Zoup was closed. If said due to a staffing shortage. To translate, people got sick and we have no one to work. Zoup here has been very irresponsible to its patrons here. I try to laugh to keep from retching, I mean crying.... I'm sorry I'm not feeling well. I'm going to have to get tested. I know it could have been I got sick from any where. But what I saw there is, was fact. How do I know it's fact well it's written. I just wrote it.

For a place called Zoup, their soup is pretty mediocre. I’ve made much better tomato soup at home. It’s fairly cheap tho for the loop
