“We stopped by Threadz during the Chocolate tour. There is a large selection of women's clothes, shoes, boots, and handbags. They also have a men's area. Children's area, baby's area, an area for necklaces and belts and of course..fitting rooms. My daughter found some very nice items to add to her closet at decent prices. We will definitely be back.”

“Before you read on, know that this review (or story of my experience with The Purple Bubble Bar, rather) is from a 6’ 4”(ish) hairy and just as heavy middle aged father of multiple daughters who works and owns a business in the (HVAC) trade proudly committed to the Union under the Local 353 and Local 1 halls. I am not what most people would envision as a customer, consumer, or even advocate for this type of business…but I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My wife found The Purple Bubble Bar years ago for one of many events/locations we were to attend on a Valentine’s Day celebration. She planned each location with a “five senses” theme (smell, taste, touch, etc). This was back when it was located on Prospect in the Heights. What a great night, and The Purple Bubble Bar was the biggest surprise of the them all that evening so far as unexpected enjoyment. Absolutely loved it.I remember the first time sampling all the fragrances, trying to “hone” in on the true essence of what I preferred. So many choices, just a few among them included powerful aromas that let you know what they were about, fresh smells to lift you up, warm feelings brought on by others, even a hint of exotic resemblance. Some hit hard, some lingered longer, while others even had a kind of “aftertaste” that grew after the initial sniff. Then I found out as I delved deeper into my search that you could mix and match them like you might when trying new ingredients or seasonings for a meal. My favorites kept changing for the better, and at last I found the root of the aromas that I had been unknowingly searching for…Cha Cha Cherry! While most may not agree with me as far as favorites go (it’s what I would refer to as potent and powerful), in that moment, I knew what I had found.I never forgot that fragrance, and after several years of absence, a relocation of their business, and the whole Covid thing, I returned to introduce my daughter(s) to this experience. First thing I asked about was Cha Cha Cherry, but unfortunately it was no longer available. Joslyn pulled out her info cards that my wife and I had filled out on our first visit (which felt like opening a time capsule seeing my wife’s and mine own hand writing from years ago) listing all our previous favorites. With Joslyn’s help, I found a VERY close replacement in what she dubbed “Lost Cherry” and it included a bit of almond, which I had never realized had such a sweet and cherry-like aromatic essence to it.Well, I’m happy to announce that in my multiple return visits since, cha cha cherry has returned to the line-up, and I love introducing people to this place of business. My daughters all love this place too, and have their own cards with their favorites listed, but never miss the opportunity to try something new. Many products of great quality are available as well as multiple capacity containers for each to choose from. Listen to their advice, but don’t be afraid to let them know what you prefer as well.If you’re ever in the area, just stop for a moment. If you’re not in the area, The Purple Bubble Bar is all the excuse you need to go. Even if you don’t have the intention of purchasing anything, I encourage you to make time for what may or may not be one of your more “paid attention to” senses, you’ll be glad you did. While you’re there, you can ask Joslyn about the time she had an incident with an entire vial of Cha Cha Cherry!”
