I got my car tow Friday they diagnosed it by Monday, and by the following Monday I had my transmission rebuilt and running .🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥they did a great job.. Great customer service..THERES PEOPLE THAT LEFT A BAD REVIEW BUT THOSE ARE PEOPLE THAT IT DID NOT GO THEY WAY THEY EXPECTED AND KNOW THEY GOT A BAD REVIEW. Man take your car tow Friday Aamco THEY GET THE JOB DONE.✅

**Posting for a friend**On 09/25/2024 my suv was towed to AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care located at 2001 S Cicero Ave, Cicero, IL 60804 because my vehicle wouldn't shift into drive and unable to move. Aamco diagnosed my suv as needing a new transmission. Stated that replacing parts on my transmission was too costly. Then I was told the Valve body on the "new trans" was needed to be relaced. It has now been over 30 days and my car is still not fixed. Every week the Manager Angel promised the vehicle would be ready. 10/23/2024 I went to Aamco
and refuse any additional service and to retrieve my vehicle. Aamco told me they are not giving me my suv. Police was called. Legal action now have to be taken. Dont GO HERE!!! Update: Today is 11/26/2024 The vehicle is still not fixed, the whereabouts is unknown. Angel said they couldn't fix it, so the sent it to a "European Specialist" that he don't know where and won't tell me where it's at.

BEWARE bad service and waste of money. I had my transmission rebuilt last year and my transmission failed 14 months later (warranty was 12 months) stranding me while on a road trip in canada. I noticed issues immediately after the transmission rebuild with leaking transmission, missing bolts on mounts and weird shifting. I took it back right away complaining of the shifting and leaking and they said they fixed it. Well now I am just a couple months past the 12-month warranty busted transmission and I tried to talk with Angel over the phone for 2 weeks trying to work out a deal on a replacement transmission but he isn’t offering me a deal or calling me back. HUGE WASTE OF MY MONEY. I WOULD NOT TRUST THEM WITH TRANSMISSION REBUILD. MY ONLY OPTION IS TO LEAVE A BAD REVIEW. GO FIND ANOTHER SHOP.

Best service!! Angel was very professional and handled my issues in a time efficient manner. Jamari also had great customer service. No complaints at all I would definitely recommend this location to others.

Needed a clutch replacement, and they did it within a week. There was a faulty piece in the new clutch kit, and they replaced it free of charge. 10/10, would do it again!

So I came to get an oil change and the manager angel stop to help while all his co workers took care of other customers. He was very respectful and you can tell he really know what’s he is doing and on top of that he gave me a good price with no hassle I would recommend everyone to came to this location and he would most definitely take care of you

This was my first visit to this place since the one near me closed down. I was pretty happy with the service, but there's definitely some room for improvement as a couple instruction they never followed. A shuttle picked me up after my car was ready.
