US Bank has been my bank since they bought Charter One which used to be my bank for years, after the acquisition they shortly after closed the branch close to my house so this is the closest one to me now and I’ve been visiting this location since then, there is a Byline bank right across the street from my house, so because they’re paying higher interests (APY) for CDs I went to US Bank to get some of my money out to open a CD at Byline, the lady at the bank Rebeca Perez told me they didn’t have enough money so she had to give me a register check but I had to pay them 10 dollars, I asked why I had to pay 10 dollars to get my own money out, she with an attitude said “I already told you we don’t have the money so I need to give you a register check” We kept going back and forth then I said it wasn’t my fault they didn’t have enough money (My money) so I wasn’t paying 10 dollars and was closing my account, she was giving me an attitude the whole time and went to talk to her manager which waived the 10 dollars fee but she had that face and threw me this line “Next time you get a register check you’ll have to pay the 10 dollars fee because we’re not going to be waiving the fee all the time” Listen girl , first of all I never buy register checks, you wanted to get me one because you said you did not have enough money, silly, and next time move the customer to a private office where both us and you are not getting exposed, Rebeca Perez get a job at the Secretary of the State because they always hire annoying people like you who hate their jobs, once I stop direct deposit I’m switching banks because of unprofessional employees like you.

This is the worst bank I've ever done with I have closed my bank account I have my credit card which is 18 months no interest I'm going to pay off an 18 months and take a free loan GO ELSEWHERE trust me. They feel they can just discriminate against speech disabled people. They treat them like retards and people that cannot handle their own business they have to talk so much because they have such low status in life they have to compensate for it by talking to feel important. I am so glad I had a career that I did not have to feel so important like these people because they answer the the phone calls for a horrible Bank LOL**** reply to their response below**** This is not the first time this has happened it's happened every single time I'm contacting them because I am a disability called a stroke I'm happy I'm so alive I can barely speak in a lot of pain at all times I use text to speeches I'm paralyzed I have reported this to supervisors numerous times and nothing has ever been done so why should I give you the Dignity of giving you a heads up in public because you will do absolutely nothing anyway you are posting this only to try to save face in public look at the reviews all through Yelp you don't have a four-star in the bunch everything is one star because of how horrible your people are. I am really happy with Bank of America they treat you with dignity they don't treat you like a second class citizen like your employees do!! Because of the way there are no results in the past I will guarantee you would not do anything here I cannot waste my time you reply to everybody's review to try to save face but people can see right through it good luck making your minimum wage doing this you figure I got free loan because I have a good credit LOL it cost me nothing to apply for a credit card my credit is over 800 so I don't have to worry about it I have my good cards I just use you so I can consolidate Bill real quick enjoy giving me free money lol

I posted a bad review in 2019. Nothing has improved here. Last week I wanted to go thru drive thru and it was closed. So, I went inside and had to wait in line only 2 cashiers. Third person was sitting on side with nothing to do. When it was finally my turn, I asked why the drive thru was closed. He stated that there was not staff. Which I though was a good idea, instead of having customers waiting forever in line outside. Well, I returned again on Tuesday , 1 vehicle in front of me. Waited 15 minutes in line , had to leave because my 96 year old mom had to use the bathroom. They now have tinted glass on windows customers cannot look in . Well, there is an opening on the side and I could see that the clerk who was supposed to be taking care of the person in front of me , started waiting on customers who were inside. What kind of management allows this? I worked in banks and we were told to wait on one customer at a time and complete that transaction before going on to the next. I cannot imagine the number of mistakes caused by the way this bank operated. I do not remember seeing a security guard inside. Will never ever return here again.

Atm deposit did not reflect on my account, branch manager did not show any sympathy and was no help. Hire a new manager!

Horrible service! Drive thru customer service is absolutely terrible! Lines are extremely long. Tellers don't even greet you most of the time. You need to request help as soon as you get there. Otherwise the tellers will sit at their desks waiting forever before asking what you need. If you complain about how long it took to get service you will be told "If you don't like their service, go somewhere else!" Just rude and very unprofessional!

This branch always has problems with their ATM machine (it’s out of service to much) and I tried to withdraw $100 from the ATM and in the middle of my Transaction the ATM machine started having a malfunction problems and I didn’t receive my $100 that I tried to withdraw from my account. This branch also has bad customer service.

It's totally impossible to find a branch that's open, to do any transactions. Had my tax refund checks, wanted to deposit them. I was told that I would have to find a branch that had a drive up window, to do the transaction. I found one in Cicero, Illinois, this was the nearest one to me. I took a ride over there and found the drive thru line was about 4 cars deep, 3 lanes-2 for teller transactions and 1- for atm. Wanted my turn in line, average wait time per car was about 10 minutes each. When it was my turn, the teller told me that I couldn't deposit the checks. The reason being that, no joint account, but she signed it. They wanted me to bring her there in person, with a picture ID. I told her that, I didn't have any problems at the other branches, the manager had to override her decision. I was already pissed off, because I had to go out of my way to make a deposit. Why aren't the other smaller drive up windows open, it would have been my convenient.

Went to drive thru 2 vehicles in front of me, only 1 lane open. Waited 30 minutes in line. I asked the cashier why was the wait so long. She said that she had to wait on customers inside also. She took my payment and said that she would be right back. I could see thru glass that she went to wait on customer inside. I could not understand why she started on my account and left it there to wait on customer inside. When she finally returned I asked for name of manager on duty. She said that she did not know. I asked her to find out. Instead, she went to wait on customer inside. I only go to this branch about twice a year . Totally disorganized. Poor management. Will not be returning. P.S. Watch out for large potholes in the ATM lane , over 6 inches deep. right next to the building. I am sure management is aware but choses not to do anything about it. You can seriously damage your tires.

I went to u.s bank for an interview last Monday I arrived 2 mins early to my interview waited not 10 or 20 mins for an interview but almost an hr! Tanya had no understanding that I had to leave early for a dentist appointment! Tanya get on your s*** girlfriend! You had an disorganized staff working there ppl!
