This DG is the worst. It is always closed, it is always understaffed. I have a roommate that applied and has heard nothing so they must not need people, but they can never stay open. This is a needed place. The staff is friendly when open. But that's rare, oh and aisles are always full of inventory. Awful.

Would give a lower rating if possible. Highly disappointed with Clinton’s Dollar General. Fire Hazard with the amount of clutter and stuff in the aisle. I was walking in an aisle and accidentally hit a UBoat with my cart due to lack of space in the aisle. A worker came up to me and proceeded to have a very rude attitude. “are you having trouble controlling your cart” well yes ma’am I am because there is no room to walk. But then proceeds to continue yelling at me saying I knocked everything off of the shelf. I did not hit a shelf i tapped a UBoat Cart if I had hit a shelf I would’ve picked anything up immediately. An older woman with long black hair. Will not be going here again.

Filthiest Dollar General store I have ever been in. Can't get down the aisles for all the boxes. Too much stuff for such a little store.

I would give 0 stars if possible this store is filthy and a complete mess! They have aisles blocked off that can't even be shopped because they have merchandise stored in aisle. Out of alot of atuff on the shelves probably because it's on all the carts taking up the sales floor.

It is not the employees fault (look into the Dollar General corporate culture) but this is the worst DG i have ever been to. DG, if you're reading: STAFF YOUR STORES AND ENSURE YOUR EMPLOYEES CARE + COMFORT. Your exploitative business practices will be your downfall.

Aisle's are always blocked with unpacked inventory. Close almost every other weekend to "stock" when there's no one even at the store. You can't fit a cart through anywhere in the store due to the stocking boats they have blocking everything. Almost all cashiers are very rude and act like customers are inconveniencing them for trying to check out. Management is always outside smoking. How is this place even still in business???

Aisles are blocked very dangerous store to enter. You cant find anything because aisles are blocked with unpacked inventory. Someone could get hurt really bad in this store. I've seen stuff fall and collapse and they just leave it on the floor. I Don't know how cooperate has not shut this place down. Employees are lazy and hangout out front smoking all the time.

It's Dollar General. What's there to complain about?

Honestly was kind of a hassle to navigate the aisles. Two aisles had shelf pieces laying on the floor, not leaving enough room for a cart to get through. Usually the staff is great but the lady today must have been having a bad day.

The isles are always filled with items that need stocked on shelves. So not the easiest place to shop. Not my first choice to shop at, but good in a pinch.

It seems like most of the Dollar general stores are always overcrowded, narrow isles, and always cluttered with what they call, new stock, that needs to be put away. But after my visit to the Clinton Illinois Dollar general today, I don't believe I will ever go back to another dollar general. It had to have been one of the nastiest, messiest, unorganized, and most cluttered store I have ever been in. The only time I've ever seen a decent Dollar general is when it is brand new. And usually within two or three months it's just as cluttered and screwed up as the rest of them.
