This is the only cvs I've ever been to where I feel anxiety to shop or go to the pharmacy. They're all unpleasant. All of them. The pharmacy staff has several hands on deck, yet somehow untimely, and they make it uncomfortable to pick up prescriptions. I've moved all my medications to the pharmacy down the block because there is only ever one person working there and they are always friendly and fast. The atmosphere is obviously different. Every question I ask at the Vandalia location is met with a sigh or eye roll. Never going back. They need to understand that people are in pain, ill, or broke when they leave the pharmacy. And though none of those things are the fault of the pharmacy, the least they could do is make sure orders place several days in advance are completed on time and try to act a little less like customers/patients are hindering their lives in some way. It's not that hard to be a little kinder. Stop making people feel like an inconvenience, your job is to service people. Without us, you wouldn't have the job.

Love my cvs. They are always quite busy, so be prepared for a wait but sometimes it's ok to wait for the best

I went to this pharmacy to get some medicine. They asked me to spell my name. I did. The attendant asked me again. I had to tell her 4 times! She didn't listen to what I was saying. I was getting pretty mad by this point. I will be ordering my medicine thru mail from this point on.

I've never had a bad experience at this store. I have been going here since it opened. Staff is friendly. I do feel like the are sometimes under staffed, but anyone who has or does work retail realizes that it's out of their control.

I called today and their automated line says my prescription is ready for pick up. I drive all the way there just to find out they have a sign on the window that says their computers are down. I tried to call but no one answers. Frustrating waiste of time!

Key points: Upsetting experience--moved my prescription to another provider.Pharmacy employee (she didnt provide a name) laughed when she advised me my medication was on backorder and I expressed looking around to other locations. She then continued to pretty much "ramble" which made me wonder if she wasn't on something. It was so bad, I simply had to hang up on her because she just kept going and in a tone of voice that was very groggy and "tired". --Not the best professionalism by any means.

I haven’t had a bad experience at CVS. Everyone at the pharmacy is always so nice and helpful. I’m there so often that they know me by name! The store associates are always very helpful too. I very rarely run into issues with my scripts being out of stock but if I do, the staff is always right on top of it and go the extra mile to help me find what I need or quickly order it in. Highly recommend giving them a try!

Unfortunately, I have been unable to get an emergency refill of a needed daily medication while Dr's office is closed. Switching to Walgreen's after this latest debacle. I am debating if urgent care (anadditional cost) is now necessary.

I scheduled a flu shot at CVS. The website stated flu shots were free. I was required to enter my health insurance information to schedule the appointment. When I arrived I was told I could not have a flu shot as CVS did not do business with blue cross blue shield. I do not know why I was refused a "free" flu shot as advertised on their website based on my insurance. I am also confused since they have filled my prescriptions in the past. I will never again use CVS. I just became a Walgreens customer.
