I purchased a headset for my Xbox, Rig 800 pros, as well as the warranty. My husband, who is not a gamer, returned to Gamestop in Collinsville, to trade the mic for a new one when the mic would not stay connected due to connectivity issues. They gave him a new set, but they were for a playstation. He did not realize this, as I’m the gamer, so he took them out of box to let them charge up for me. Once I got home and realized they were for the wrong system, he went back to store to let them know they gave him the wrong ones, they refused to take them back and would not even take them on trade! Now I sit with $149 mic that is useless to me. I’ve spent thousands at Gamestop over the years, but will never step foot in another one again!

Pre ordered a collectors edition and this store cancelled it. Not a happy experience if I could have rated a zero I would have!!! Get it together GameStop before you lose all of your customer base

I normally don't like pre-orders because I had a bad experience at Christmas but I decided to give them a go. I was so happy I did. They were great but a bit short-handed at the time. They had a guy from another location help out and weren't sure where things were. He was very nice and apologetic. So I was fine coming in another day. I think the same kid was there, along with the manager when I returned. Super nice guys. I would rather shop local if I can so this was a great experience and I got what I wanted. I will probably shop for Christmas here this year. Hopefully with no headaches.
