It is now 10 minutes past my appointment and there is no one here to even open up the office.Very unprofessional, does anyone work here?Update now 30 minutes past my appointment and this place isn't even open why even bother lying to people about being able to make an appointment if you don't even want to work! Worst experience ever! I can't believe you are able to stay in business, and of course there's no way to contact anyone the only phone number goes straight to voicemail.I only wish I could give zero stars!

Me and my boyfriend who is disabled came here to have our taxes done in March of this year. We had just recently moved here from North Dakota and not being experienced or knowledgeable about taxes especially with all of this stimulus stuff. We had neither one received a stimulus check at all at this time. He became disabled end of 2020 and I worked straight through the pandemic. I was told by JH that I could file him as a dependent first time I filed them. Then I get a call and they say I can not file him because he has an IP pen set up and we have no clue what it could be. So I have to go back and re file without him and then he has to pay a fee to file for stimulus on his own. Because he doesn't know this IP pin he has to send his in paper form... By now its April. JH can't help us find out any information about how or what was going on with Pin number. So I so what most people do and I Google it. So because this pin has been set up by IRS and we don't know it it should have been obvious to JH there would be a hold on his taxes. It is now mid June and we have heard nothing about his refund. Cannot access any info online, have| called JH more times than I could count.. when they are open. Several different "tax experts" in their offices gave us a different answer every time we called. We were told it had been processed, had not been processed, weren't sure if they had mailed it and had to check, or they just couldn't say anything but just be patient. Frustrated enough we googled IRS real person and called today. I was on hold for 1 1/2 hours for first representative who was absolutely an outstanding employee. Before she could even access his account guess what??? He had to answer several questions to verify who he was to get IP pen to remove hold on his refund. She then transferred me and I have been on hold another 45 minutes to get an estimated time to expect his return. I would definitely not recommend JH to anyone that has access to Google and a little patience. JH definitely has been the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with.Dana Melton & Christopher Lyles

I called the number listed here on Saturday the 18th around 1115 am. The man answered the phone with a "Hello?" and I asked if this was the Jackson Hewitt tax service. He said with an un-enthused tone, "umm, yeah", and I said,"and this is how you answer the phone." He then said "go f#@k yourself" and hung up on me. I will never ever recommend or utilize this service. As a company providing a service to its customers, there should be some level of cordiality not an aggressive jaded voice answering to the likes of a person needing services done. This man was offensive, intrusive, and apparently unhappy with his given situation. I recommend he either resign orbe terminated. I am open to contact.
