Went in on the 4th and “Sandals” was a nice gentleman and very helpful- or I thought. I was trying to port in a number and take advantage of a deal he was offering. iPhone 12 for free with a plan. They were closing but he wanted to activate one of my own devices that night. He asked that I come back the next day with my port info and he would have the iPhone as promised. I went back the next day and “Dave” was sound asleep on the sales floor. We had to wake him up and when we did he said he couldn’t help me at all. I never even wanted the phone service if I couldn’t port my number. Completely confused and frustrated, we left. The next day we went to another store in wood river and they were VERY helpful and fixed all the issues created by “sandals”. Don’t believe these people and don’t do business with them unless you must, best of luck!

The clerk told me none of the stores in the local area carried the phone I wanted. I tried another store where they explained the stores are independently operated and the stock in one store does not reflect the stock in others. In short, he wasn't honest with me. Go to the Wood River location; they were fantastic!

Worst store you will ever go to all they do is sell you plans and Phones they want to sell you protection plans but it doesn’t protect anything so your paying extra money for no reason they can’t look you up in there system you can’t even cancel with them in house it’s all online and customer care…just ridiculous

Santosh was great! We went for 2 I phones, added internet for a total savings of $50 a month. Devices were all set up in store so we had no problems when we got home, just plug and play.

I would not recommend this phone company to anyone. I got a big expensive Motorola phone and I have had nothing but trouble with it for over 3 weeks. After many complaints to the store in Collinsville Illinois and 3 calls to the company headquarters,, NOTHING has been done to help me. I am Most unhappy with the whole mess. Avoid. Metro.

Thieves!!! I brought in a 3 year old iphone to transfer my service and was charged $12 for insurance that I never requested and did not want. I have spoken to corporate to request a refund and they told me to call this store back. The manager outright refused to refund me for this “insurance “ that I never wanted. I mean honestly what is insurance going to do with a 3 year old iphone 8 anyways? Do not go to this location as they are thieves that overcharge you and then refuse to refund your money. This is not how you do business.

The Manager on duty 11/2/2021 was very rude and dismissive to my child and myself. Very arrogant. Made a point to tell me and my child that it was his last week working at this store. He stated he was going back to his $55/hr job soon. Idk why that was important for us to know. He was not apologetic when I asked him why he left us in the lobby alone after he kept insisting that I was upset. I really do hope he will be leaving metro soon. He's not for good business and his customer service was horrible!!

Honestly one of the worst customer service experiences of my life.The manager on duty (older black male ""with his master's"")was extremely rude and dismissive to me. Not helpful at all. Wouldn't answer my questions. Kept talking over me and inturupting. He made a comment on the Collinsville area and saying how he didn't like it here or the people that come into the store... And even put me on the wrong plan... He kept mentioning personal details about himself that I did not care to know. He came off very arrogant and even made a comment about me to another customer. Go to the Fairview store for better service..
