Our mail has started going to this location. After years of no issues, I've had so much missing mail that has all come through HERE! I recently had a package sliced open on the side and the contents stolen from this location! I will be doing a claim and filing a police report to catch the scum who stole at this location! As a military family, it really hurts to have trusted our mail carriers and sorting facilities, only to have them break that trust by stealing from us. This package in particular was not only a gift to me from someone, but was a gift for WORKING for them. I am disgusted this even happened, and will be sure that whoever did this is fully taken accountable.

You need to fix that door area! My knee, shoulder hurt and head. I almost cracked my glasses. That’s crazy coming from a post office!! I will NOT be back. Can’t remember to not run into window. Put a sign up!! Not that you care!! Horriable place everytime I go. Then they stare like something wrong with me. A lady in hallway ask if I was ok and thank you but this got to be the worse post office in the US!! Fairview heights is the way to go and I will drive there if I have too!! 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

The lady that works at the front desk is terrible. Went in to do a change of address and she was being extremely rude to the people in front of me. Then i asked for a change of address form and she advised me they didn’t have any and i could go online and pay to do it or go to another post office. What a joke! I’d give it 0 stars if i could.

Do they train Post Office workers to be rude during training or something? The lady with gold curly hair, she's short, she's dark skin, kinda like a caramel complexion. She is so rude. Oh my God, I will never go back to that Post Office again! Not only was I not greeted, but every word that proceeded out of her mouth was rude, with the couple of words she did say. When she was done checking me out, she threw my receipt on the counter and she also slapped my certified mail tracking labor on the counter as well. That was my first and last time in there, and sadly, it's always our kind, Black people with the nastiest attitudes, as if someone has done something to them or made them work. I don't know who raised y'all type of workers, but find another job If you have an attitude like that one did. Just rude for no reason, and don't even greet their customers as they come in

Must be a requirement to be extremely rude to work here. The lady asked me for my ID and then handed my ID back to me. I put my ID back in my wallet. She must’ve needed it again and proceeded to scold me and said she didn’t give it back to me for me to put away. Then told me she had “bad news” and that she wasn’t going to get my package for me because it would take too long. Told me I can get it tomorrow when it’s delivered. Her rudeness was covered with “Have a great day!”

I only gave one rating just to leave a review. It should be zero the front counter will make no effort to look research anything when you give them proper information The young lady, she has a personality like she’s doing you a favor coming to work she don’t want to get her rings dirty can’t wait for the government overhaul for the post office over the years customer service downhill

Admittedly I lost the mail key. It happens I take myself to the store Saturday, pay for the key and lock to be replaced, get quoted it will be done Wednesday by my mail carrier. Get off work Wednesday go to check my mail, key doesn’t work. Go back to office to inquire if there was an issue. Lady at front desk, (one with short dark hair sorry her name was not provided) very unprofessional and tone of voice very rude/catty. 2/26/25 @ 3:15pm. She was so nonchalant about my situation saying it will get done when it gets done maybe tomorrow. Making excuses like maybe the mail carrier didn’t have tools in the truck to change the lock. Understandable but you would think it would be on the mail carriers scheduled to do a lock change and come prepared. Either way she told me not to come back in store to call instead. I was the only one in store but she seemed like she couldn’t be bothered by any customers.

If I could give them less stars I would. They lose packages, letters, bill, checks. The staff is very unprofessional. Go to any other post office.
Update:
It still sucks.

I have had my mail not show up after being scanned by informed delivery. When I asked why, I was told they don't train us on that. I think something is going on

Don't bother with their porch pickup, they have "lost" two of my packages in the same week. Picked up and scanned for tracking, but never leave the post office. Interesting...

This post office has gotten progressively worse over the years. When the carriers pick up packages from our mailbox, they do not scan them at time of pick up. Packages are scanned 2, 3 or 4 days after they are picked up or once they get to St. Louis. The postmaster at this location will tell you the carriers scan every package that’s picked up. Oh, it gets better. The postmaster claims I’m putting my packages in the mail 2-3 days after I print my label. She says the carriers are not supposed to pick up packages that have mailing dates that differ from the current date. Um…we have cameras on our house that very clearly show the carriers do not scan the packages, and by the way, we hold our packages up to the camera so we have proof what day the package was put in the mail. You can clearly see the label on the package in the camera. Oh, coincidently you can see the mailing date which matches the date on the camera. Today (1/19/24), I had 2 packages in my mailbox to pick up. Mail carrier was here and did not scan either package. The postmaster’s response “I’ll have a conversation the carrier.” Just like you did last time? Then my package disappeared? Then you proceeded to tell me I didn’t drop it off or put it in the mailbox? Suddenly it appeared in St. Louis 4 days after the carrier picked it up! Wow. Do your job!

This is the worst USPS in town. The customer service is utter bull, you can’t talk to a representative when you call it’s all automated and it continuously hangs up. Do better or get more help
