For anyone who is an elder or disabled or both, this store is a hazard. Not having open checkout lanes with cashiers has caused me physical pain, stress, and frustration -- elders have multiple diseases as well as all kinds of joint pain with weakening muscles. There are 80 million Baby Boomers in the USA and the youngest is 59years old now. Trying to stand at self check-out to move groceries or items across the machine while operating the computer and packing bags is more than be tolerated without physical painful consequences - and then loading the bags, etc. Many times those self check-out machines require assistance to process paper coupons and then more time is spent getting assistance. NOT to mention the little children running around the area bumping into us old folks because their mom cannot adequately monitor the children while trying to check out her groceries and bag them up at a nearby self check-out station. I have often done the pick-up feature, but now Walmart Website does NOT take the Medicare FLEXCARD for payment. That means I have to go into the Walmart store to purchase the MEDICAL items that I need. Walmart is not just losing money because of thefts, they are losing money because BABY BOOMERS are not going into the store anymore due to the mess inside and the physical pain that it can cause. TERRIBLE COMPANY - DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS AT ALL NOW.

It's a super Walmart. Cheap stuff, large store and lots of selection. The empty stock here is excessive and if you need help at the self check out lanes, forget about it. Walmart is what it is. Nothing great or terrible about this store.

This Walmart needs to hire people who can tell the difference between a cucumber and a zucchini. And Rotini pasta from macaroni. It's really not that hard. I've ordered MANY times for grocery pick up but they've YET to get my orders correct. I ALWAYS have substitutions, "not in stock", or just plain wrong items. Why do I keep ordering? Well I don't have time to grocery shop with kids. And Aldi nor Schunks have the items I need. Just wished for once I can get what I asked for and the correct items. Otherwise the store is good. Very nice employees and managers.

Called Collinsville Illinois location needing to know about a specific item. They answered the phone quickly and was very polite, transferring me to the dairy department where after an 8 minute hold NOT ONE PERSON COULD ANSWER THE PHONE. HORRIBLE SERVICE!

My boyfriend and I waited 30 minutes for someone to come back to sporting goods so he could get his hunting license. We pressed the page button 10+ times and even asked someone in the automotive section next to sporting goods if he could help or page someone and he was like "there's nothing I can do to help there". Finally, the assistant manager came and got him the license. We didn't get everything we needed for the license and when asked if he knew where a certain item was he said "I don't usually work back here so I don't know". After he left we found the item in the aisle next to us, and we had to purchase the item in the sporting good section. We waiting another 30 minutes for someone to come back and help us check out. RIDICULOUS

Walmart of the world, take notice! The Collinsville, IL location is by far one of the cleanest and most organized Walmart that I have ever been to. I stopped by to look at some of the new Arcade 1 Up devices in the electronics department. I was truly blown away by how well everything was displayed. Great job! I decide since I was there, I might as well do some shopping. The aisles were clear and easy to navigate with the shopping cart. I was able to find my groceries with ease and a few other items. I bought here than planned because the shopping experience at the Collinsville Walmart was wonderful! I wish that my local Walmart in O'Fallon, IL would send over their management team to see what a true Walmart Supercenter looks like. Another plus was I wasn't treated like a thief when I left the store with my paid items. Thank you Collinsville Walmart! I shall return very I would like to also add a thank you to their management team for responding promptly to a request for a price match. It might have taken multiple trips, but it was well worth it.

If this is the Edwardsville Super Walmart we love it we drive a good little distance to go the warning Wood River is only a mile from our house we hate the store and the manager the bathroom is always disgusting and nobody seems to know what you're talking about and if you lucky enough to talk to the manager he looks at you like you're dumb do not understand how he keeps his job but we will drive the extra miles to go to Edwardsville much better shopping people are very friendly

I'm sorry to have to write this review, I called the automotive department today, 5pmish, 6.27.2018, and had to call 2x, due to no one answering the telephone, the second time the person only said, "HOLD"... I have now been on hold for over 7 minutes, this is terrible that no one has taken the time to come back to see what I needed and they are changing tires, I had to let them know I would pick up the vehicle (my son's vehicle) instead of him. Alec finally answered the phone and I explained the switch and asked him to call my number to pick up the vehicle for my son, he was nice, but they need more staff there, come on WALMART hire these people ... assistance... geesh!!!

Their "employee" WANA verbally assaulted my daughter at the self check out lane today. She was directing people to the other lines and as my daughter stepped up she says "what do you think you're doing? You cut in front of me." My daughter said I thought you were working here, (apparently she was on break-who knows ) so I went to the next register. This idiot continues to mouth off to my daughter till she had to ask for her name and then smarted her off to another employee as she was walking out. This is ridiculous. She needs to be fired ASAP. You Do not get rude with a customer much less 2x for no reason whatsoever. I'm also calling corporate and filing a complaint.

It's Walmart, you can get great things for cheap, and there are lots of things lol. The employees were exceptionally slow, but coming from New Jersey anyone not laughing your items off the belt and into the bag at hyper speed is slow. Overall good experience and if I am ever back here I would go again.

Generally the store is clean and organized as well as any other Walmart. Where they are lacking is in having an appropriate amount of trained cashiers on hand at most times. Going in on a Sunday evening at about 7:30 pm there were maybe 3 lanes open other than self checkout. The cashiers seem ill-equipped to handle any situation out of the ordinary. On this particular evening it took me nearly 35 minutes to check out as the person ahead of me had a cart full of items which had to be divided into at least 2 transactions because of payment method. The cashier messed up and almost had to start over. I called the store manager the next day to voice my concerns and he kept making excuses and blamed my delays on the time I chose to shop. Sadly this store is on my way home from work and I still stop there when I need to. But don't expect speedy and/or friendly service.
