It was a great value for helpful and professional movers! These guys have it down to a science! It was thoroughly impressed with the speedy process and communication with me throughout the process. Moving from our 2 bedroom apartment to our 3 story home. They wanted to help me with this as much as possible and it showed!I would highly recommend this team! Tim, Martin and Danny were fantastic! Giving their number to all my family and friends!

It took a lot for me to write a negative review. I really wanted Del's to redeem themselves after my review posted on April 10, 2023. Unfortunately, they continue to make false promises and ignore my pleas to resolve this matter. I spoke with Alex last week and he assured me he'd get right back to me with another opportunity to come to the warehouse and look for our missing belongings and once again he ghosted me. Still looking for our things and/or some type of settlement or at the very least communication....basic human decency.

All around great experience with Del's after my daughter's original moving company cancelled 24 hours before her scheduled move-out. Del's scheduled her move with less than 24 hours notice and on a Sunday, even though it was a Chicago move and they are located in the suburbs. The moving crew was great: efficient, professional, careful and friendly. Highly recommend.

Run don't walk from Del's! I don't make a habit of writing bad reviews; however, in this case I am compelled to in order to help others with their moving experience. I've moved numerous times over the years and this has been by far the worst experience. Never before have we had BROKEN, DAMAGED, DESTROYED AND COMPLETELY LOST belongings. I've been trying unsuccessfully, to resolve this since September, 2022. Calls, emails & texts go unanswered. Appointments made and broken to look for our missing items. Several visits to the warehouse have been eyeopening as to the way customers personal belongings and treasures are stored. Zero organization and valuables stacked with heavy boxes and items on top. We found a few of our belongings sitting on the floor...not in a crate, box or in storage of any kind. Still missing over $2000 worth of our property and this doesn't include what was broken or damaged. An offer of $500 was made in December as long as we signed a waiver; however, at that time we were still hoping to find our things. No communication or attempts to resolve since. I have a lot of photos showing the damaged items and condition of the warehouse. Attached are only a few pictures of the warehouse and damaged/broken items including a peloton screen. We have been extremely patient but this has gone on far too long. Alex, Randy and Richard are not men of their word and not to be trusted.( I didn't want to give any stars but the review requires at least one)

DO NOT RECOMMEND:We hired Del’s Moving because we wanted to support local business, most of the reviews were positive, and the posted photos on social media seemed professional. Based on what we were seeing, we expected the same quality of service. The men that showed up appeared a bit less professional than what we were expecting compared to what we had seen on their social media. The group seemed to be comprised of day laborers, or whoever was available to handle the job that day. Some showed up late, and the ones that arrived on time joked about how those individuals must have been out late the night before. Despite that, we were still hopeful and confident that they would get the job done with care and professionalism. Our point of contact for the move was Rich, who was present for about 45 minutes in the morning, never to be seen the rest of the day. We witnessed items being dropped (a heavy file cabinet onto our wood floor that had just been refinished), scraped, bumped, and damaged due to being improperly handled or wrapped. We have damage to our dining room table, chairs, fine art frames, and gouges in the wood floor at both our previous home and current home. While keeping in mind that accidents happen, this experience was so disappointing and frustrating because upon hearing of all the damage, Rich has completely cut off communication with us. We were told that he was submitting the claim to his insurance company and all attempts to follow up have gone unanswered. He is no longer communicating with us. Terrible moving service and terrible follow up customer service to try and make this very frustrating situation right.

Del's made our move seamless! Everything from packing to loading to unloading. We had some bulky furniture, and they handled it. Thanks for all your hard work, Del’s!

I called Randy around 10:00 AM yesterday DESPERATE for a same day move under special circumstances for my 83 year old mom. Our original movers cancelled at 9:00. (Long story, they're not at fault.) By 3:30 he had a team of three guys there. They were really hard working, friendly, and helpful with all the last minute odds and ends. And the price was right on target with the estimate Randy gave me that morning. So thankful Del's could save the day.

Nice guys. Richard was willing to go above and beyond to help me get my items to me in a rush. I'm very thankful for that. The two men who moved my items were nice and speedy. I will say though, sadly a few little items were left behind, like my snowboard binding. So that wasn't good. Also the dude 100% over charged me to build my furniture. I thought that was included in the service I booked. I guess it wasn't, so get clarity on that. But I paid them to build my couch, bed, and one of my accent chairs, and it costed just as much as the moving service itself. I def got ripped off compared to the market rate which is like $75 an item in the city. So there's that. Overall I'd say go with this company because they are very reliable and will help you out esp if you're in a predicament. However, don't allow them to upcharge you under the table to build your furniture. Just use a Task Rabbit or call a friend over to get it done.

This was our 6th move around the country & we only needed furniture moved 6 miles to our new home during Covid so we took a friend’s recommendation & hired Del’s. Everything seemed great until Rich(the salesman) called 10 minutes before they were supposed to arrive to tell us that they had gotten a bigger job & that we would not have 2 trucks as promised, but they would take off $30 an hour, which he tried to make sound like a huge concession by them. Who knew that driving 6 miles could take over an hour. We had a crew of 5-every time the driver or 2 of the crew talked they stopped working! There are discrepancies in their paperwork. One says 15 wardrobes-one says 20. They were beat up, old, breaking & dirty. The clothes were mixed from all closets so a nightmare to organize. Found dozens of things thrown ( not stacked) on the floor & closet rods had lots of room My husband’s suits were hung inside their “garbage box” since they didn’t have enough wardrobes. Their course burlap took the finish off our antique furniture. We had just assembled a brand new sit on storage bin for staging our deck & they managed to put holes in all 8 corners in 6 miles. It took 5 movers 1 1/2 hours to figure out how to get a pinball machine out of the basement. (Matt said that the only way was to take off the stairway molding). My husband told them how it was taken down in 10 minutes & they finally listened to him. Cigarette butts, boxes & trash were left all over both properties We were told that floors & railings would be covered Sam the driver said that he had never heard of that or done it. When I found the paperwork I called & got Alex. He said he would talk to Rich & that I would heard from him on Saturday or Monday. No call. I called 2 weeks later & got Alex again. He said that Rich would call me in a few minutes. He did & he said that it was the 1st he had ever heard any of this. He said that he would talk to the guys separately & he would call me at some point on Wednesday! I called Rich 10 days later & left him a message thatI still hadn’t heard back from him. That was 11-10-21. I STILL HAVEN’T HEARD BACK FROM HIM! Hands down this is absolutely the worst move we have ever had! I wouldn’t trust this company to take out our trash!!

Dels moved us from our home in LaGrange Park to our current home in Downers Grove. Our crew; Danny, Fernando and Tony, the crew chief were great! They worked their tails off, made sure everything was wrapped properly and secure. Good price for the move as well. I’d recommend these guys wholeheartedly! Many Thanks to our excellent crew!

Your driver stopped in a known active commuter and freight rail crossing. No one is to blame but your poorly trained driver. Not BNSF, not construction.

They do their job right but they up charge you tremendously. they charge you $165 an hour from start of loading on the truck to delivery. They charged me an additional $165 for an hour travel from 2 towns away when it should only take about 20 minutes. They also couldn't move a piece of furniture upstairs so the one guy had to have me help them. I should have tipped myself. I won't be using them again. 3 stars for moving my furniture and everything was there except a tube from my vacuum was missing and 3 stars is being generous here....
