Went to get my taxes done with Pete this year only to find he's in the process of retiring and sold the business. The new owner was pleasant enough at first however, after bickering with me over not having receipts for a couple hundred dollars in church/charitable donations (which Pete has never once told me I needed in all these years), I was not happy. The straw that broke the camel's back for me was when a very disgruntled employee from the front desk burst into the office, looked at me, made an angry sigh and then demanded the new owner move her car bc she was blocking him. For a second there I really thought she was about to get up and leave while still working my appointment. She then also continued to let this guy pace in the hallway for the next ten minutes while she finished up! Seriously?? Manage your staff. To add insult to injury, once she did finish my return went from being $80 to $110! Nothing from my deductions or income changed since last year there was no reason for the $30 increase. Overall, sad to say I'm never coming back here again.

wow what a j**** called them to see if they could help us with our taxes this year, he asked me two questions & said ';you'll need to find someone else good luck!" and hung up on me! Wow great way to treat someone, what an a*** Would not recommend to anyone!!!

I hope it was just that Peter Butvilas and his staff were having a bad day - but they presented themselves with zero professionalism and were in fact extraordinarily unkind for people who are being paid to provide a pretty essential service to folks.
