Our Subarus have had a hard time when we go to Colorado. We have used this place 4 times since 2018. The staff is very polite, and when we pick up our car, the windshield looks brand new and no trace of a replacement being completed. Our car has to have the safety cameras recalibrated. The work is completed, and the system works perfectly. I highly recommend this place.

Our ins. company directed us to Safelite (Crest Hill) for a glass only claim. It started off sounding great but unforutnately, was not a good experience which caused a week delay. Overall, they were unprofessional and felt as if they were either avoiding the job or hiding something. We ended up using a company who provided service within 24 hours. Unbelieveable how little Safelite seemed concerned about helping and would just blow things off. Tried to reach a local manger about our concerns and was told they were on vacation, no one could help me in their absence and to call corporate. I did call corporate and left a message -so far, no one has called me back. Very dissapointing.

The staff at this location is highly professional, polite and courteous. I went last week to get the cracked windshield inspected and asked if it is covered under warranty. The receptionist greeted me with respect and was professional and polite. The technician, after inspecting the vehicle, spoke to me about the damage and informed me that they will replace the windshield under warranty and at no cost to me. A big help financially as I recently lost work and this expense would have caused an additional strain. I am grateful to Safelite in Plainfield, IL and their staff for excellent service and I highly recommend this place.

Left my car on Tuesday for over 3 hours, was told they couldn’t get the windshield to calibrate. Brought it back 3 days later and must say the service was terrible. No one in the office, tech visually saw me walk in yet my physical presence in their office was ignored . Tried to contact a real person via Safelite and got even more frustrated with their automated system. I DO NOT recommend the Crest Hill shop …. Definitely go somewhere else. Customer care is not a priority.

Had my windshield replaced here via insurance and had no problems. Repair was fast, it was calibrated correctly and OEM glass was used.Later someone smashed against my rear driver side window and caused a crash. Paid $500 to have an aftermarket window replacement and the tint doesn't match my tint.When I called I was told that I could take it elsewhere to have it retinted to match. I asked if I found an OEM window online if they could swap and the tech told me they don't do that.Someone else, a manager perhaps, suggested that I could source a window online, bring it in and they would swap. When I found a window online and called to double check before pulling the trigger, was told they don't do that.

3 appointments. 3 windshields. All cracked. Most incompetent people I've ever had to deal with. DO NOT GO HERE. Unprofessional staff. Horrible service. Waist of time. They tried to charge me $700+ dollars for a CRACKED windshield! The 3rd cracked windshield. Vile snakes. Do your self a favor. DO NOT GO TO USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOU WINSHIELDS.The people working at Safelite AutoGlass lack common sense and do not take accountability for there mistakes of which there are many. There customer service is poor and they make it nearly impossible to actually repair my windshield which is literally their purpose. I still haven't gotten my windshield repaired and it's been nearly a month.

Where do I start? I was told it would take 1.5 hours at most for a windshield replacement. They had me waiting for over 3 hours. I was given a discount for taking so long, great thanks. But upon inspection of my vehicle I noticed paint chips on the roof where windshield meets the roof. I also found the trim of the windshield to be not in place correctly only to find broken clips on both sides of the trim. I now have to come back for them to try to fix the clips that were broken and try to touch up the paint that was damaged. If I wouldn’t have done a walk down of the work that was done i would’ve walked away with these issues unnoticed. Would not recommend Safelight or this location.

They got my truck in and out pretty quick. Dropped it off at opening time and they were done doing the windshield by noon.I just wish they didn't charge 70 bucks for a "disposal fee" for the glass when all they do is fill their dumpster with the glass and their day to day garbage. I looked in there out of curiosity and I honestly see that as a blatant cash grab
