Smolich Brothers Home-made Sausages is a great local spot and a tradition that goes back decades. It is a true example of a local business. The best sausage they have is the "smokey" or smokie sausage, which is always a favorite. The smokies are a mixture of pork and fat with almost a crunchy bite to them. It has been a tradition to have the smokies on Christmas and Easter for many. The Polish sausage and smoked Polish are also fantastic. The fresh Polish sausage is very flavorful and was a hit at a Thanksgiving dinner. The Italian sausage tastes so much better than typical store bought ones and is used in spaghetti sauce. This is a must place for sausages. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the best places usually don't. They mostly take orders ahead of time, but they have some available in their freezer daily, if needed. Most people place an order for pickup to get it fresh. It is hard to find out the hours of operation. Staff is extremely helpful and will guide customers on what to get. Reasonable prices for all their sausages. Call ahead before stopping by to see what sausages are available or if they are open.
