Not sure if they hire scammers or if they’re a one truck operation, but these dudes thought they were slick trying to finesse my girl when she got a warranty-provided tow. The warranty company told her it was paid for and when the truck was on the way they tried pulling some bs telling her she had to pay an extra $200 because she was “undercharged”. She didn’t feel comfortable after that and told the warranty company to send someone else and the driver threw a fit and started blowing up her phone while she was at work, even after being told the job was canceled by the warranty company. The driver still pulled up minutes later and sat outside our house and I had to sit out there with my gun taking pictures of his plates making sure he wasn’t going to try some retaliatory bs. I watched him sit there on his phone while my girl texted me that he kept blowing her up for about 15 minutes until he finally left. The company sent another company who didn’t try charging us anything directly and they told us that was most likely a common scam First Response tries since they seem so comfortable doing it. I own my own service shop and I deal with guys like this all the time. You picked the wrong one today.

Horrible service. I called for help and they assured me someone was on the way 3 hours later no one came. Do not use them. They will give you the run around when you call or not even answer and leave you waiting claiming “ they got held up on another job.” Good luck. Find someone else.

I hit debris on 294 and had bad front damage, my insurance contacted them and car was to be towed to a collision center we agreed to. Driver came pretty fast and said the car had to be towed to their storage facility, I said that’s not right so he said talk to dispatch. After more than 15 minutes of dispatch telling me this is what progressive said to do and has to be done and I said I can’t, he said I make no sense and kept trying to convince me I have to send my car to their storage. Long story short I said no, I pulled off damaged parts hanging off, tied up bumper, changed wheel that was in 2 pieces and limped my car home.When i talked to insurance they said he should not of said car had to go to their storage and that was wrong and they thanked me for not listening to him. He apparently was just trying to scam money from insurance.

My car was towed effortlessly by the team at First Response and my car was managed well. The owner is friendly. Cool to have such great customer service during a time of duress and stress. A+ service!

They never called, texted, or showed up! They don't answer the phone and the voicemail is full. We waited for hours and nothing. So never use these individuals.

They need negative stars!!!! Do not use them. State Farm contracted them to take my car to repair shop. They arrived earlier than scheduled time, no big thing. Instead of taking my car to repair shop they took it to their storage claiming the repair shop was closed. The timeframe does not add up they never went to the repair shop but straight to their storage. If your insurance says they are using them take heed to all the reviews and tell them to send someone else. I forgot to mention on the close out ticket they reported my car was at the repair shop. Just liars and crooks and State Farm and all the other insurance companies need to stop doing business with them. I’ve been since 8 this morning trying to get my car where it belongs and it’s 11 now.

Their driver is stealing out of cars and once I told them they acted as if there is nothing they could do. Instead of contacting the driver who was in control of my car they tried to play me as if I was stupid. I didn't choose to bring my car here, my insurance company chose this location. I'll be going to get an update of my stolen property or else I'll be making a police report.

We did have to wait a long time. It was dispatched by statefarm. Tow driver was really nice.
Went the next day to the tow yard, and all people were very helpful on getting my car to the next place.

They are very unprofessional. Booked with them through my insurance they gave me an 2 hour ETA right which wasn’t a problem. The problem came in an hour after they didn’t show. I reached out to get an ETA and was informed that canceled. They will leave you on the side of the road with their bad communication! STAY AWAY IF YOUR TRULY NEED HELP

Used state farm roadside assistance- call State Farm and request a different company. This one won’t come.I had been waiting on a tow 2 hours past my estimated wait time. Tow driver put the dispatcher from my insurance on an extended hold after delaying my ETA multiple times. Tow driver then LIED to dispatcher about their location and how soon they can get to me!! Dispatcher from insurance company got fed up and dispatched a second company. Don’t waste your time.Edited: decided to cancel my request after looking at their reviews and seeing so many other similar experiences, on top of them actually damaging cars!? I’ll wait for the second company. Legend Towing in tinley park got here in a timely manner!
