My precious Shipu, Molly, wasn’t eating. We took her here only to discover she was having kidney and heart issues. Medication for either would hurt the other. No real recourse other than to say goodbye. 13 wonderful years with my fur baby. The staff here are extraordinary. How they can deal with these situations on a regular basis and with such grace and compassion is amazing. I wish I could give 10+ stars. Thank you for helping us through this difficult time. Miss my Molly-She is forever loved!!

Nice enough. It’s kind of sad tho because the two times I went in were for my cat that died and my dog who was sick but thankfully it wasn’t anything to serious. They’re nice but it’s the type of place you come to when you have nowhere else to go in a jiffy.

In one of the worst moments in our lives as pet parents, we found ourselves at Premier yesterday, February 2 when our otherwise healthy 6 year old malinois mix collapsed. We had taken her to our regular vet the day before after we saw blood in her urine. The doctor suspected she had IMHA, took blood and gave her fluids. Her condition did not improve and upon waking we realized that she was having a true medical emergency, something I had never dealt with before. We contacted Premier and let them know we were coming. Upon our arrival we were met with a gurney, nurse and tech who took her in right away. Dr. Davis came in and explained to us what was happening and that we needed to discuss quality of life. We were not ready for this since hardly 12 hours before Raven was completely healthy. The team was very compassionate and patient with us as we tried to navigate our emotions and the reality of the situation. Once we were ready, Dr. Davis humanely ended Ravens suffering. We took Raven home so her furry friends Emma and Moon Man could say goodbye one last time before we took her for cremation. We were not pressured into doing anything and felt that we had control the entire time. Thank you to Dr. Davis and the staff at Premier Orland Park for your care, concern and professionalism during our time of great sadness and doing what you could to save our Raven.

Only gave them one star because I had to give them something. I would give ZERO stars if I could. Absolutely worst veterinary visit I've ever had in my entire life and I've had animals my whole life. If you care for your pet do not go here because they don't care for your pet, they care for your money and only your money. I called first thing in the morning to ask if I needed an appointment that I was extremely serious - could not get into my own Vet until next month. They told me best to come at 11:00 AM (this was 7 AM). I was text several times while waiting at my home (almost an hour away) stating there was more crucial pets that were coming I and they had to push my time back. So I guess I would've had an appointment if that is the case. ? Once I arrive I stated my dog had pooped and vomited all over the house the day before and had not eaten or drank water. Ultimately the gal must've not heard a word I said because she noted my dog had been doing this the entire time for 2.5 days. They didn't even bother taking her temp after mentioning she had been very warm feeling with a dry nose. Didn't even address it. Just kept telling me I need to give her all kinds of shots, X-rays, medicine, blood test and hydration injection. Was at a $1,000 right there without even looking at her. Told them she had a pre-existing condition that they just needed to go on PetDesk or get a hold of my Vet to fax last vet visit to know what it is exactly instead of running all these blood tests and things she did not need. They came in and asked me twice if I wanted to give her two separate injections and I said no with the two X-rays being $600 I said let's go with the hydration because she is dehydrated. With only two other clients there I waited in the room for an hour - felt like I was in a jail cell and they were holding my dog hostage. Woman from front desk came and said she was going to check me out in the room I had been waiting in - I asked to see an invoice and her response was she would give it to me after she rung me up - I told Her no that I would like to see it prior to that. She took me to front desk and I saw they had given her an injection I said no to. I told her that and she said she would go ask. She came back and said oh they didn't give it to her so I will take it off. SO.... If they did NOT give it to her why then would they put down $50.00 and stating on invoice that they did. SO.... If I had not said anything they would have let me pay it. SO.... Did they give it to her or did they not???? Woman's fave got all smooshed up and pissed off looking when she had asked me second time in room if I wanted injections I said No AGAIN. Then they charged me $177.53 just to show me 2 X-RAYS. And right now... I think those weren't even of my dog. I cannot be sure but she was showing me two things inside my dog that looked like sticks and was trying to tell me that was the Pepti Bismo I had given my dog 2 days prior. . I felt gas lighted the entire time I was there! I will NEVER go back here EVER and I suggest if you care for your pet take it elsewhere. THEY DO NOT CARE! They only want your hard earned money! This place is a scam and I hope to GOD my dog ends up being okay . Absolutely nothing came from this visit today except for I lost a days pay put miles on my vehicle and my dog is still very sick. I don't feel like they've done anything to help her. Rude staff and needless wait time. Confusing explanations - made zero sense. Really feel those X-rays were not my dogs. Photo Bismo would not show up as two sticks like she tried to tell Mrs just kept pushing more and more things to have done - mentioned twice she would bring in a itemized pricing list before anything was done and she never brought it in. Total and complete scam this business. They should have NOTHING to do with your pets!!! AWFUL!!!!!!!!! Hard earned money wasted on NOTHING!!!!!! Unreal!!!!! I will be lodging a complaint with the Better Business bureau first thing tomorrow. I will not forgive myself fo

I took my 2 1/2 year old pup to Premier for vomiting since 3 in the afternoon. I explained that she has 2 fur siblings at home and I would stay since it was at the time of check-in it was 3 hour wait.I was put in a room since my pup barked at another dog.I received texts that my time was moved to a later time was pushed multiple times before I left after my pup had vomited, and it seemed like a chore to clean it up.I understand the critical patients need to come first, but when you have a dog vomit in the waiting area and have been there 3 hours already and were told an additional 2 to 4 hours, possibly more.It was a bit unsettling. They wanted me to go home and come back.I just don't understand. If you have an emergency, why would someone want to go in and out in 12 below weather only to possibly be moved time slots again for another more urgent" emergency "?

Compassionate care that makes all the difference during the most difficult time of pet ownership. The doctors and nurses could not be more kind.

Brought my dog in on New Year's Day around 3:30 AM. The staff was so kind, patient and supportive. Unfortunately, we had to euthanize, but their compassion and allowing us time and space was much appreciated. It also wasn't nearly as expensive as I had assumed it would be.

DO NOT EVER GO HERE! They are money hungry. Tried to charge $800 for xrays, and when I told the vet that I couldn't afford that. She limited her assistance. She stopped answering my questions, and she i coincidentally didn't know anything I inquired about. After I left, my dog was in such respiratory distress that she died within hours. They gave her Lasix without consulting me first. Plus the staff was completely rude.

Today is Christmas Eve and my poor pup started choking and gagging. I bought the pup for some ER attention and was attended to right away with friendly staff. Thanks for taking away my stress and looking at my pup!

Seeing a lot of reviews about costs and such, but it seems people don't realize this is an Animal HOSPITAL.Hospitals are more pricey than your regular pet clinic. We took our sick kitten here in a rush because we were worried about her not making it.The receptionists were very nice and welcoming, the vet techs were informative and caring, and the vet was as well. We are greatful for them and what they do.Was it pricey, sure. Were we there for hours waiting, yes, but again it's a hospital and it was worth it when no where else would see our kitten as a walk-in.For our fur baby, it was worth it.

My dog had an eye infection, we came in to get some meds for it. The dog was happy and healthy otherwise, when we left the first thing that happened the next day he got a swollen face. We went back, they took the dog to the back room and when we got him home (keep in mind this was a dog that was healthy and only 6 months old), he stopped eating. We took him back the following day as his leg started swelling up as well. It started to get so swollen and infected that he needed surgery. The dog had no scratches or anything, so I think they must have used an old needle or not cleaned the collection side and infected him themselves. They charged for all of this and then they told us to bring the dog in to change the bandage every day (while charging `$200 each time on top of the 2K+ for the surgery). After we complained they told us not to come back again and the last bandage they put on was a dry bandage on a giant wound. Meaning they knew to remove this bandage would hurt the puppy but they did it out of spite anyways. WHo puts a dry bandage on an open wound with no medication? We now are having another vet do surgery this week to fix the mess they made of his leg. If I could prove that they are the one that used a bad needle or didn't do a clean blood collection, I would sue them out of business for what they did to my dog. They are thieves and liars, DO NOT take your animals there. My healthy puppy came in with an eye infection and left (after their service) with a giant wound and needing multiple surgeries within days of going to them as in within 48hrs. Happy to not eating and an infected leg at needle site.Even our current vet said that they did all of this to get extra money as they do not understand why they would want us to bring the dog every day just for them to change the bandage (and pay each time $200) . Our new vet told us not to touch the wound till his next surgery and just bandaged it once properly. Please do not go there, they just want your money and do not care about your pets.If something like this has happended to you as well, please put a review here so that we could contact each other. I am serious about suing them for their negligence. If there are more of us then we can get them out of business, so this never happens to anyone else and we can prove that this their standard practice. Seriously, my 6month puppy because of them now needs multiple surgeries and that just isn't right. If you do need to use them, do not let them take your pet to the back without you, watch what they are actually doing to them so something like this doesn't happen to you.
