“I don't know if I dealt with one of the store's manager today just now, or not, but I have to say that this was the most pleasant experience I've had at a Dollar tree in a long time. They had everything I was looking for, as well as obviously being cheaper than the surrounding competition.. They also made it a point to make me comfortable enough to ask questions in regards to location and price for each and every item I needed. They didn't bother me, but they also didn't push me away when I really needed to know certain things.
Yeah.....it's a dollar store. I might not get the greatest quality in regards to the items I purchase. However, it also isn't garbage I'm purchasing, either. They (those working at the Dyer location, that is) make darn sure that each and every customer has been attended to. And I am NOT just saying that. I know service jobs are really stressful, and it is VERY damn hard to keep your composure at times. But they make it look damn easy, especially when you really do get some knucklehead customers that are never satisfied with anything. It's hard, and you can't please everybody...a d yet they attempt to, regardless.
EVERY SINGLE PERSON THERE DESERVES A RAISE IN PAY. I'M NOT SAYING THIS JUST TO MAKE THE PEOPLE THAT WAITED ON ME FEEL BETTER. I'M SAYING THIS BECAUSE I FELT COMFORTABLE IN THAT STORE AND NOT EMBARRASSED.
Bottom line is.....the Dyer store is doing a damn good job in making me feel comfortable where I happened to shop for groceries and personal items.
I MOST DEFINITELY plan on coming back in the near future.....which is more than likely going to be tomorrow afternoon. The manager they have now, as well as the employees, must really enjoy whomever they work for. They do a damn good job in regards to HOW things are done.
And I know by now I must sound like a broken record, but they also do a damn good job as to WHY certain things get done as well. The service/retail industry is a rough one, to say the least. But whomever runs this specific local knows what they are doing at least. I hope it remains this way, to be honest.
I plan on seeing everyone again today, simply because my mom most definitely forgot what else she needed at the store, hahahaha!

“Each dollar tree is different as far as geologically. Once u get out of the more ethnic areas the variety of things you can find is amazing! Sad to say but the hood Dollar tree is a 5 go to the white neighborhood and u definitely have an upgraded experience. Sorry to say but it's the truth. “I came by for emergency quick an cheap options. While not everything beats other store prices, it is the only place to get some off brands which are nice and the staff is real friendly, never any hostility, even when busy, they make sure they answer or help you out before continuing on their work day.”

“I know you can do better. The district Manager of this location should be ashamed, to say the least. I got sick to my stomach but I was determined to walk through the entire store isle by isle to witness just how bad it was. There were two associates visible who were not at all concerned with the condition of the store and because they stood at the front of the store talking and laughing like there was nothing to do. Even when I let out a very scary scream, neither one of the associates came to check on my safety another customer ran over only to find out that i saw a huge bug jumping around. I absolutely had to take a few photos because my words are just not enough. I am still in an attempt to speak personally from their Corporate Office but so far all of my attempts have been unsuccessful. I will continue my attempts to speak to someone who will be concerned enough about the photos and will look to hold someone accountable for this mess of a store. By the way, I did make a purchase just to verify my visit on 8/24/20225-Stats for the worst store in history.Note: I absolutely love shopping at "Family Dollar" it truly saddens me that this is the location I now live closer to”

“I want to start by saying that Sarah is amazing. There was a huge, neverending line the entire time I was in the store. She was quick and efficient. It made me mad when I tried to slide her some money for her lunch today and she told me she couldn't accept it. It's the day before Easter and everyone is scrambling for last minute stuff. “I went to this Family Dollar yesterday around 6pm. The young man there was fair complexion with locs, he was opening boxes, placing the merchandise on shelves & busting the boxes down. Once I finished I stood in line thinking someone else would ring me up. The same young man that greeted me by pausing what he was doing & welcoming me in ran over to the register, apologized for the wait, I was only standing there maybe a minute, & proceeded to ring up my items. Not only was this young man polite but very hard working. Family Dollar needs to give this young man a raise, he needs to be rewarded for his good work. As a society we are quick to point out negative & bad work ethic, I’m pointing out this young man doing the job of three people with a cheerful attitude in spite of his situation!”

“This store has stayed clean and friendly since they opened. Came in looking for some essentials and I carry a big purse, not always but sometimes it's just easier. The employees did well with managing the front counter and I could tell I was being checked on, which is understandable no one wants to be stolen from especially not when they work hard to provide a well organized store. The only section that wasn't well organized was the clearance section and even that area looked good. I appreciate this store, I feel safe, respected and I can rely on them having something at least compatible to what I'm looking for. Not always a cheap trip but always a grateful trip.
