I purchased tires from Goodyear. After a disappointing experience at the Huntley location—where the customer service was severely lacking—I was relieved when Goodyear stepped in and redirected my tire installation to Auto Tech Centers in Crystal Lake.
From the moment the switch was made, the experience turned around. Bob, the manager, reached out right away to set up a new appointment. Although I missed his initial call, I called back and was impressed to find that his team was already fully briefed on the situation and ready to help. It was clear communication and professionalism were priorities here.
On the day of installation, I was helped by Adam, who was absolutely fantastic—professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Unlike the Huntley location, which incorrectly told me I needed a wheel lock key (prompting an unnecessary purchase from Honda), Adam actually went out to my car himself to check and confirmed that my vehicle didn’t require one. That level of care and honesty is rare and deeply appreciated.
This kind of service is exactly why I will be coming back—and recommending Auto Tech Centers in Crystal Lake to others. Thank you to Bob, Adam, and the whole team for turning a frustrating situation into a great customer experience.

Had a complete brake job and new fluid done on my car.
Both the Service Agent and mechanic that did the actual install work did a great job!
The pricing was comparable to other auto centers but the quality and service (with an appointment) was outstanding.

Great customer service. Adam was very helpful selecting the right replacement tire after having a blowout. Replaced it quickly and Bob caught that we needed an oil change. Highly recommended for any auto service.

Auto Tech always does a good job for me. We've been taking our cars there for years. They're fast, friendly, and very accommodating. It's nice to have a neighborhood repair shop that I know I can trust and provides reliable service!
