Crystal Lake Public Library has a great selection of books and a welcoming environment. The staff are great and always ready to help with a smile. The library is well-organized and easy to navigate, with lots of tables and chairs to read or study. It is a clean and inclusive place, offering a variety of books, journals, and e-books, as well as programs like the summer reading program. The library is a great place to study, do homework, or get work done, with friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere.

Absolutely a CL treasure! All the staff are great- always ready to help anyone with a smile! **new faces abound but the same level of joy and community is shared with all patrons! A very welcoming inclusive service, well de serving of a larger, updated facility.
