Exactly as advertised. I reserved a unit and when I went to follow up I found the facility clean and well maintained. It was well lit and easy to pull in for loading and unloading. Pricing is what I expected. Associate was friendly. All over it was a good experience.

My experience with Ms. Donna, the phone rep who helped me with renting my unit was beyond incredible. Donna, was patient, kind, and considerate of this old dude trying to figure out what unit worked best for him.
Donna, went out of her way to help me understand everything about the process of getting a unit at Crystal Lake Storage.
As a person who values great customer service and feels one who give that should be singled out, I want to make sure that all who read this, will know what a super rep Donna is, and those who talk to her in the future will come away saying the same thing.
As in a society where people seem to have lost those old fashioned ideals of caring of another person and truly helping them out, Donna exemplified those tenfold and deserves to be honored by her superiors.
I taught Consumer Ed for a number of years, and Donna gave this consumer the best service possible.
However her company rewards their employees, I pray that Donna gets awarded in a way that truly shows the great service she gave me on Saturday, 6/14.
God's blessings to Donna and her family.
And Donna, Thank You again!!!!

I've been a long time customer here and it's extremely disheartening to see how things have changed. The online system constantly messes up when trying to make payments (resulting in me having to call in for it to be fixed almost monthly), and I was told that they'd delay my rent increase as a compromise because they can't price match for existing customers (even though that isn't stipulated in their price matching ads). That was in November. I was never given a timeline on this, so I expected it to stay the same until the time that the yearly increase usually happens. Now not even three full billing cycles later, my rent increased, the online portal is trying to force me to pay multiple months of the increased amount at once (despite not having any past due balance) and this is just super frustrating. I'm honestly considering looking elsewhere as much as I really don't want to due to convenience, loyalty, and the customer service I received when things were going really well.

Mostly helpful but will charge you if you provide proof of insurance but don’t send the policy when it renews even if nothing changes. They also told me I had to show it in person at first and by the time I got around to sending them the same policy, they charged roughly an additional $100. Feels like just out to nickel and dime you. Will be moving my stuff out when possible since I asked they remove the additional charges when I told them it was the same insurance, company, policy number and they said no. Buyer beware.

Be careful of fees that show up later after your agreement starts. They told us we need to have insurance for a trailer we park there. After providing them documentation for insurance, we get charged for rental insurance for the vehicle we carry insurance on. Seems like a scam to me.

Had rented a storage unit here before and didn’t have any issues, but just recently rented another unit here and was told I would get a free month and they ended up charging me for it, I called them and they said they said they couldn’t do anything.
