Chris was amazing. He went the extra mile to make we were able to get back on the road popped two tires on IL winter potholes. Kind, helpful and considerate in a very frustrating situation for us. Rational and thoughtful in his advice on how to get back on the road for our long trip.

I woke up this morning for work with a flat. I called Chris here this am and he was able to take me right away and help me rectify my situation. It was quick and affordable! Thank you so much to Chris and his staff!!!

I’m very disappointed in Firestone. I took my car to the Crystal Lake Firestone for a brake job. They fixed the brakes for what I’d consider to be overpriced. While that job was being completed, I received a call from the manager, who informed me both control arms were cracked. He said the job requires the engine to be disconnected and it would take 12 hours with a price tag of $2,300. I was immediately suspicious because I found it difficult to believe both control arms had a crack. I went in to pay for the brakes and requested they show me the cracked control arms. They declined, stating they didn’t have a certified mechanic to lift the car.
I left the shop and brought the vehicle to a certified mechanic for my car’s make. He looked at the control arms and told me he couldn’t in good conscience replace the control arms because there was nothing wrong with them. He explained shops will say the control arms need repair because it is a big job that pays well. I’m still driving the car without a problem. I used to trust Firestone but I guess my do not return list has one more shop added to it. Please beware.

Brought in my tire to be repaired as I was driving on a spare. The bad tire was repaired and placed back onto the vehicle but the repair people there didnt know how to put the spare back into its place so they left it in the back. After asking them, they admitted not knowing how to do it so I had to lay in their parking lot and do it myself. No offer of a discount??? Imagine that, a tire place that doesnt know how to do this and makes the customer do it? Unreal…makes me wonder what else they dont know. Be careful

Such helpful, prompt, polite and all around excellent customer service this morning from Chris the MOD and Mark the service technician! New tires and alignment and I didn't know about an online discount for the services I needed today, thank you guys!

Brought my car in to see what was wrong with it. It was the timing chain, and they were honest about their opinion they say they could fix it if I really wanted to spend that kind of money, but with all the money I already put into the car I feel is not worth it and they also said it’s not really worth it so I’m happy that they were honest and very communicative through the whole process and they always kept me in the loop of everything and gave me suggestions what I should do but we all decided that I’m just gonna trade my car in for a different vehicle
