The Golf Academy at Terra Cotta is a highly recommended facility for golfers of all skill levels. It offers an amazing value range membership with unlimited balls from sun-up to sun-down in a designated area. The practice grounds are excellent, featuring a great short game area with two sand bunkers and a massive, challenging green. Practice is available off real grass or mats, and the upkeep of the grounds is great. The facility includes a driving range, putting green, and indoor simulators with high-speed cameras. The entire staff is great, with many different coaches available for all budgets and skill levels. Instructors provide excellent lessons and club fittings, taking a thoughtful, data-driven approach without any pressure to upsell. It is a community among the members and staff that welcomes diversity. The facility is considered one of the best grass practice areas in Chicagoland, notable for its use of fresh range balls. It is a special place with good people where many feel they can spend hours and leave feeling accomplished.

Grass is a little better here, and it's more casual as it is not a course.

I would recommend lessons with Mike and Terra Cotta to anyone looking to improve their golf game. I was hesitant about getting lessons, but I am very happy I went forward with it. Mike does a good job of using video that helps me understand what is happening with my swing.

This was our first golf lesson. Dillon was very encouraging and patient with us. Our lesson was indoors on a simulator. It worked great!
