I bought my mazda a year ago and the sales was awesome. The service side is just as good. Got me in, fixed her up and out the same day.

I have had my 2017 CX5 serviced here several times, and I am always so impressed with the way I am treated. Everyone is very kind and helpful. They really listen to me, which I appreciate.

Fantastic experience!! Highly recommend this dealership. I worked with James Orton on buying a new Miata and he was amazing to work with. Also working with Heather (finance) and Dan (GM) during the process. I’ve had several cars over the years and this was the smoothest process I’ve ever had. If you are thinking of buying a new Mazda (or BMW since they are the same dealer), go to Mazda/BMW of Crystal Lake and you will be in great hands.

We had a wonderful experience at Mazda of Crystal Lake. A big thanks to Roman, who helped us with purchasing our new car. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and polite, which made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Do not buy mazda, unless you want your subframe to rust before the outside of your car does and lose control, leaving your life at jeopardy.I think the pictures speak for itself. I also had a 100 point safety inspection. A month before we lost control of the vehicle, and they never saw this? They cheaply recalled the front frame but not the back. The government made them recall their vehicles because they did not coat the undercoating correctly. Since they didn't fix the full vehicle now it sits in the driveway for my handicapped mother. This is the 3rd mazda 6 I purchesed and one tribute. It doesn't matter if I bought the car from the maza.Dealership mazda is mazda, and they should stand behind their vehicles wherever I get it serviced. So the response to this post is embarrassing to them. This thing is falling apart! Never again the recalls and rust amount for a 2011 is terrible. Replaced sub frame, airbags Cadillac converter. Felt in jams coming up. Mirror is worping, vinyl picking up from doors and plastic falling off throughout. Original brakes tires removed after 10,000 miles. Worst car I have ever had. Let the pictures speak the truth.I'm going to post this on every single mazda, dealership, so no one buys mazda. Here are pictures of the front and back. After 8 years, my subframe, what's rotted? That's the timeline for the first picture. I assume the back didn't look too far away but we were never told. In fact, I had to come back because they didn't put my skid plate on. WHEN THEY HAVE FIXED IT THE FIRST TIME, THEY DIDN'T EVEN HONOR THE BODY DAMAGE THAT WAS CAUSED BY THEIR RECALL.

They tried charging me and extra $500 for vin etching on a 1991 Miata, nothing is etched and they couldn’t show anything it’s nothing but a scam watch out for greedy dealerships trying to take advantage of you.

Unprofessional and Disrespectful — Worst Car Buying Experience I’ve Had
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this dealership was beyond frustrating. i was trying to be honest and transparent with them letting them know of my situation credit wise and the condition of my trade ahead of me traveling to their dealership as i was almost two hours away. I arrived at 4:45pm telling them i am ready to close the deal. I waited there for the “financing” deal to come through for an hour and 45 minutes while they were going back and forth with payment amounts which i already made it clear to what i can afford .To make matters worse, the staff was dismissive, unprofessional, and told me at 6:45 pm that their main lender is on eastern time and I can’t have decision until next day if i can come back.. i asked for a loaner since i was driving a car with a transmission dying and they told me all their loaners are booked.. offered me a financing rate and monthly payment that were absolutely outrageous compared to what I ended up getting elsewhere.
There was no sense of urgency or respect for my time, my situation, or my needs as a buyer. I left feeling drained, disrespected, and completely taken advantage of.
Thankfully, I found a much better experience elsewhere, but I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone looking for honesty, transparency, or even basic courtesy.

I just bought a 2025 Miata GT, my 6th vehicle from Crystal Lake BMW/Mazda in 5 years! What a great dealership, from sales to service. I test drove the car at an event to just see what it was like (I had a 1991 Miata). Then I went back a couple of times, my salesman James was so helpful, no hard sell. The GM Dan is great to work with and no BS. Derek and the service department keep my cars in top shape and keep me coming back. Mike in Finance has been helpful and is another car guy. No dealer has a better team! everyone at the dealership is so friendly and the fresh coffee is always hot.

I bought a new car from Mazda of Crystal Lake in 2017 and have brought multiple other Mazdas I've owned to them for service over the years.
Last year, I brought in my 2024 Mazda 3 to have a software update performed. I was having issues with the microphone when making calls through Bluetooth. I found that this was a known issue and that a dealer software update was needed. I even found the Mazda service bulletin about the issue and the fix.
You can imagine how puzzled I was when the service advisor said there was no update or fix available. I asked him to please double check and provided him with the service bulletin, but he flat out refused to look into it any further. He was incredibly rude and dismissive. This is a senior advisor there whom I had worked with before. He was never exactly friendly, but to be treated this way really crossed the line for me.
The next day, I brought the car to Napleton Mazda in Palatine. They performed the update without any issue and the problem was resolved.
I left a couple voicemails for the service manager at Crystal Lake to let him know how disappointed I was with their complete unwillingness to help me. He never returned my calls.
I was a long time customer. I will never go back.

I take my Mazda 3 there for regular service. They always have top notch customer service and have been very accommodating. There are closer dealerships to me but I go to them because I trust them and they always treat me right. I would definitely recommend them!

Very professional and extremely helpful from the sales team all the way to the general manager. Not pushy and patiently answered all our questions. A very fair sales price and delivered our car to Bloomington to boot. Outstanding 😊👍

When showing up to Mazda in search of a new car that had a CX-50 Mazda Select, Which was perfect for me because even though it's the base model it still comes with a lot of nice features. Like a High resolution display, back up camera, blind spot monitoring, lane assist, and more. Additionally, the staff where really helpful with my salesperson Anthony who took the time to go fill up the tank before the test drive. On that test drive he let me really feel the car telling me all about the auto connect on the display so your phone connects seamlessly. Next, there was Michael Schwarz who was super helpfully during the whole process really breaking down the information making it easy to understand willing to answer any questions and overall great person. Then, Dan Brozozowski who was polite, honest, and friendly. He allowed me to take the car home for the night and show my dad so I could get his approval which was important for me. Additionally, all of the other staff where really kind and helpful including Nico Ghiselli the used car manager, and Rylie at the reception desk.
