Set an appointment for a consult with Wendy. I had read all the five star reviews how she is an excellent stylist who is basically patient, compassionate, willing to listen, knows her craft, provides best cuts / styles ever, and has over 15 years experience. She was anything but willing to listen, look at photos, and didn’t know her craft. She wasn’t interested in looking any of my photos other than one when I had about five photos to show her. She only knows how to cut bangs/ longer layers one way when I asked if she knew how to round cut or curve cut. She only knew how to hang bangs/layers around the face and cut them angles toward the face. I have been to many stylists where they can pull the hair up and cut it in their hands after sectioning in sections. I didn’t want my layers hung around my face and cut towards my face as another stylist had done that. She basically told me it was my way of styling. No it isn’t ; it is the way it has been cut. Also I showed her a photo of a highlights, she cut me off while speaking, told me to go back to talking about the cut. She wouldn’t let me complete my idea and show her additional photos of highlights. She is very limited and when she only stated she knew how to cut bangs one way- hanging around the face and cut at angle towards the face, I left. Most stylists on a consult touch your hair or brush through it. She didn’t even touch my hair at the consult. I left disappointed and I don’t know how she has five stars as a stylist. They must mark negative reviews as spam. Won’t refer anyone to this salon. Won’t return.

First time visit with Taylor and she took her time getting to know my hair and how I wanted it cut. I am very happy with my cut and Taylor gave me a quick lesson in using a large barrel curling iron to achieve the look I want. We discussed color, too, which will be done at my next appointment. I am looking forward to seeing her again!

This was my first visit to SalonCora, and I found it to be a wonderful experience. My stylist, Wendy, was wonderful, taking her time to make sure that my hair was cut and styled as I wanted it done. My visit was from start to finish was great, and I would highly recommend this salon and my stylist Wendy.

Incredibly great experience.
Went in for a perm but Laney was informative and shared the risks due to my past coloring hair experience. Left extremely pleased with the cut and styling.
The location is conveniently near my home which is a major added plus. As well as we had a great time chatting. She’s recommended some great products and I left with one from the salon.
I will be back!

Stylist said she was going to do a color correction and my hair is just darker but still multiple shades of colors . I also left the salon with my hair half wet / half dry . I understand there was another client but I didn’t ask for anything crazy done on my hair .
