Disgusting manager!
People please open the eyes and do your maths before you sign up trading your phones !
They took my good Iphone for trading and told me that I will pay for new phone just $17 amount for 36 months, but they didn’t tell me that my monthly plan will increase from $50 to $80 ! To understand better I ask them if they can change my plan back for $50 ,they said ok but you have to pay full price for the phone $44,4 for 36 months ! So they got my tradin Iphone for free, when I asked to refund my phone they said NO we can’t!
This store with manager and staff it’s a garbage, stay away from them! I never met that such a rude customer and specially manager!

And corporate loves them because they move units.

Everyone who comment on the employees being rude and lack of knowledge is correct about this store. They do lie and try to do the least amount to help you. A couple years ago I started going to this Verizon and the guys working in here were Wonderful. Not sure where they went but they were the best.

This is the sleaziest store I’ve ever been into. The sales people are slick to the point that it makes me sick to my stomach.
I can see how they take advantage of old people in this store always getting them into upgrades and telling them they get a free phone when it’s not actually free.
I’ve been a customer for 15 years. They charged me $200 for a Internet router I never received.
They said switching my account to Business would save me $100 a month. In fact it cost me an extra hundred dollars a month plus the cost of the phone connectivity that they said was free but wasn’t.
I can’t believe these companies still get away with deceptive practices after 20 years of taking advantage of people.
If they tell you, they’re giving you something free it’s not. They won’t explain that to you because they’re disgusting people.

I went in store and gerrardo sells us business phones and internet and tells us how much cheaper everything would be. He is such a liar. I have 50+ texts to him with promises he would take care of everything. The internet goes out at least 3x daily. It took months of calling him numerous times daily to get some credits. He lied about pricing. He couldn't call me back and always had an excuse. I would hate to see this happen to other small businesses. So disappointed.

Beware of this store , I’m a buisness owner and have dealt with the absolute most back and forth with business account manger Gerardo . My bill has been over $560 a month $200 + over what he said it would be . It’s all BS . I’ve been waiting for a credit back every month and nothing changes . Please do yourself a favor and take your business else where , I definitely am .

Team members are slow and clueless. No consideration for time. Would not recommend this location.

I called Verizon to switch service and was told to go to the store in Crystal Lake to pick up our phones. When I arrived, I was approached by Gerardo to upgrade to a business account with new phones promised, land lines, sim cards for our security cameras and a new iPad with wi-fi. I went for it. I asked for all pricing to be sent to me in writing- phones in hand-with "dummy numbers" -not able to actually switch service until a time that we agreed on. Needless to say- did not get anything in writing regarding prices, and when service was supposed to be switched, it did not happen. I returned all equipment within the return window, and nothing was ever activated. I have sat in this store for literally HOURS and multiple visits so that they could deal with their internal customer service team to bring our bill back to zero. I was assured by both Joe and Hamdin, that the balance should be adjusted promptly. Guess what...our account has been sent to collections. I of course will be disputing all charges, and have very well documented notes on all transactions/visits/conversations. Do yourself a favor, and do not set foot in this store. While I do believe that both Joe and Hamdin tried to resolve this issue, it clearly did not happen...SO..here I am spending more of my time arguing with the collection company on a balance for service that was never activated.

This location was brought an Order of Protection from a judge in IL stating that they had to give my sister her number and her own account due to the fact she was violently beaten by the owner of the Verizon account.
The staff was rude. Dismissed both her and my mother, most likely because they were women, told them they needed him to do a three way call between the store manager, my sister, and the person who has the order of protection against them. The store manager presented this as the only solution other than getting a power of attorney after stating he understood what an order of protection was. He clearly did not and even after he was presented with the paper work stating her legal right to have her number switched to her own account, the store manager gave my sister and my mother the run around and then told them the legal department would have to deal with the problem.
When asked what the number was to the legal department, the store manager informed them he must of forgotten the number and after ten minutes while they waited for him to look for it, they finally left feeling humiliated.
My sister felt helpless and violated once and couldn’t stand to feel that way again only a couple of days later.
Shame on verizon for supporting woman beaters.

Inexperienced, unprofessional and honestly just a big waste of time. Eager to get your money but not to make a simple solution after doing so. Horrible experiences with online orders through them and the girl with glasses is an absolute ditz. Only person in there that tolerable is the young man with long hair.

I walked in to the Verizon corporate store in Crystal Lake to find the sales force huddled in a corner. I suddenly felt like i did not fit it. The store looked in disarray. Finally the sloppy guy with long hair took me. I was there to turn my phone in for a trade in credit with a small crack and have my esim transfered. My phone was in complete working order with a tiny crack. Woodstock was not equipped for the trade in. It really was a tiny crack it was an Ultra 23 just over a year old. I was still using the phone to do everything for 4 weeks waiting for assurion to come through. When I found out they would accept a small crack and Assurion could not replace my phone for 4 weeks already, I decided to upgrade. After I bought my phone from Verizon online I went to the verizon store closest to me, which was woodstock. They were all dressed very professionally and one even opened the door for me. They helped with transferring my information since my wifi at home was not strong enough. Ali, who has only worked there for about 2 months was taking good care of me. Some questions were difficult and his manager jumped right in. That was a clean store with professional workers. A big difference between the 2 stores. In Crystal Lake, I asked him a question about my esim, he ignored me. The next thing he said was that I was good to go. I said wait a minute, I want to watch you wipe my phone and talk about the estimate and my esim. He said my phone was wiped and in the back room. I REALLY wanted to check it. He said it had all be done and I was all set to go Like "don't let the door hit you:. I said I wanted to talk about my trade in, he said verizon will get in touch with me in a couple of weeks. I believed him and left. What choice did I have. Minutes after I left the corporate store, I got an email. Crystal Lake had tagged my phone that I turned in was unresponsive and cracked up. He gave me $400 for an one year old new 23 Ultra. I'm pretty sure it's worth much more. When I got home no messages were going thru and I could not make wifi calls. Then I realized he had NOT transferred my esim. They were already 25 plus minutes then going to woodstock. Now my trip home was over an hour. I really think that corporate store should be shut down. I WOULD like a call from Verizon about my trade in value. S Emery

Don't deal with Joe - dude with long hair or in a pony tail and tattoos on arms. He messed up our whole transition big time! Joey (different guy) is good and is currently in the process of fixing the other guy's mess ups. Pack your patience for any trip in here.
