I was just here to get my 9 year old sons eyes checked the wait time kind of sucked but the doctor he saw Saleem Ahmad was absolutely great with my son he really made sure my son got exactly what he needed by being extremely friendly and projecting nothing but positive energy I have already told other people I know to come here

Went on a Saturday to pick up my glasses Paulina was there alone and was faced with a very difficult customer and in my opinion handled it better than I would have. There were a lot of people in store and she still managed to get around to help everyone and keep a positive attitude despite the very rude customer. Company should really do something to hire more people this is the 2nd Saturday I came in with only 1 person working.

AMAZING customer service above and beyond. I went into visionworks and there was a good amount of people in there. And Jose was the only employee there becuase of his other employee not showing up. He took care of all of us in a very timely matter and took the time to fix my glasses that where bent and my daughters glasses and we didn’t even buy hers there. Even under stress of many many customers he was not rude he was very calm and dealt with me having him adjust my glasses like 3 diffrent times back and forth. I will always go to see Jose from now on and recommend all of my friends and family to gto visionworks in crystal lake

My appointment was scheduled for 3:40 today. I walked in at 3:48 on the dot and one of the employees tells me I missed my time slot and can’t reschedule. The office was empty. The parking lot was empty. It’s a Friday afternoon and they’re open for another 3 hours. This place is a total joke. Literally look at the last review someone left! SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED NOT EVEN 24 HOURS AGO! To the employee who turned me away, get a new job. Your power trip is pathetic.

I scheduled an appointment online for the last appointment of the day and even completed the online medical form to save time the day of the appointment. The day of the appointment, I was running just a bit late and ended up arriving 4 minutes past my appointment time. There was one employee there casually talking to what I assume was a customer - there were no other customers in the store. The employee told me that I missed my appointment time and they wouldn't be able to see me that day and the only thing they could do would be to schedule me for a new appointment on another day. I ended up leaving without rescheduling. While I understand being late can affect all the other scheduled appointments and is not best practice, the store website states walk-ins are welcome and neither the appointment confirmation or reminders I received stated you needed to arrive a certain amount of time before the appointment time or that being late any amount of time would forfeit your appointment time (I have been to other doctor offices that have this policy messaging in their confirmation/reminder notifications). When I asked why they couldn't take me since I was only 4 minutes late the employee said they didn't have enough time to complete the "pre-testing" for the appointment. I find it hard to believe that 4 minutes would have caused much of a delay in the pre-testing and the fact that it was the last appointment of the day and there was no one else waiting for an appointment that they couldn't have still fulfilled the appointment. Especially since they claim to accept walk-ins - what if I had been a walk-in without an appointment? Would they have turned me away? My family has been going to this location for several years and this is the first time I have been extremely disappointed with the level of customer service.

Had a minor eye issue and was able to get in to see the eye doctor right away . Doctor Saleem Ahmad (Optometrist) did a very thorough job checking my eye! Highly recommend him!!

Dr. Victoria Haynes was great, in the Crystal Lake IL office for Visionworks, advised what she was going to be doing and advising me as to why. I felt she cared about me and provided information before having to ask and when I did have questions was able to explain to where I could understand very clear! I trust her and know I will be back next year! I will ask for her again! I love the frames available to chose from! Even through I don't have eye insurance coverage, you have great deals available for me!Thank you!Sylvia and Ron C.

I made an appointment with Dr. Victoria Haynes O.D. who is awesome, she explained everything as she went along in examining my eyes. Very nice with lots of patience, if I was not sure about which lens I could see better with, she was more than happy to go back and forth so I could be sure. Dr. Haynes also check my prescription from the other doctor I went to last year, she showed me what the difference was and how much my eyes had changed. I really like their sales and offers they have available, with all the great selection of frames! I bought two pairs and they are really nice, cannot wait get them in 2 weeks.

I had a great experience at Crystal Lake Visionworks. The doctor and the employees who helped me were very professional and patient with me. They took their time helping me and everything was explained thoroughly. I highly recommend this office.

Buy 1 get another pair free. 100% guarantee if your not happy with your glasses within 100 days we'll replace them. We'll I've had mine for about a month and get dizzy whenever I try to wear them. I asked to exchange my glasses for tinted lenses in frames I have and was refused. They said my pair was free and not qualified for the offer. Nowhere on their ad is this specified.

Dr. H is wonderful. He took the time to explain everything clearly with my vision, and my daughters. He is very knowledgeable, understanding and will not give something you don't need. Appointment times are convenient and easy to make.

Very happy with my appointment with visionworks liberty plaza everyone there and specially doctor Ahmad took a wonderful care of me he make time to answer all my questions and worry and also he and the staff help me choose the best eyes glasses that best fit my face the staff took time to let me choose which one I wanted they’re nice and caring and did everything possible to make me comfortable in my choice the doctor Ahmad did his best to make thing work for my eyes this is the first time that I’m so happy leaving a eyes glasses the doctor is really wonderful

I was in and out quickly (although I know they get busy and don’t mind waiting)! The doctor was knowledgeable and I love seeing the process of how they generate prescriptions. The associate was very patient in me taking my time with picking out a pair of frames. I also decided to update the anti reflective coating later that day and I was able to call and upgrade without an issue. Overall a great experience.
